CHAPTER 11: PIRATE GOBLINS
They eventually made their way to the Altar Room where they saw the blind priestess.
Most of the group was in awe by her beauty and presence. Noctis having prior knowledge of what she looked like was internally thinking 'How did she become blind? It was a goblin incident, right?" He only had information from the anime. Sadly, the anime was very discreet with certain plot points but there was information to be inferred.
Noctis scratched the side of his head as he was trying so hard to remember.
The Sword Maiden then decided to speak "Oh, well who do we have here?"
Goblin Slayer started to walk towards her "We came to slay some goblins."
Ruri immediately started to walk alongside him frantically talking to make sure Goblin Slayer appeared respectful. "Thanks for seeing us it's an honor to meet you."
The Sword Maiden smiled "A brave warrior an adorable Priestess. The rest of you?"
Krox gave a slight bow "We are fellow members of his party. Though we were not summoned we are happy to help."
Noctis was now really wondering how she could tell who everyone was. 'I guess it's possible to infer that Ruri is a priestess. After all the way she's acting makes it seem like she is someone who worships the Sword Maiden. Which would most likely be a priestess. Then when it comes to Goblin Slayer being a warrior. That's not hard you could hear his gear from a mile away.'
The Sword Maiden gave a slight bow "I welcome you all from the bottom of my heart."
Goblin Slayer asked, "So where are the Goblins?"
Noctis coughed "Sorry what my friend meant to say was that we are happy to be here but obviously one of us is eager to fulfill this quest."
The Sword Maiden smiled and proceeded to tell the group what has been happening in this town as of late. Girls being taken from the streets at night. Corpses being found in the street mostly girls. Goblin Slayer would frequently interrupt her story an ask her questions to get a better understanding of the goblins. She then went on to explain how eventually an adventurer cut down a figure who was attacking a girl. The figure was then identified as a goblin.
Noctis nodded "Most likely they are underground. It's unlikely they could just walk in through the gates. It's even more unlikely they could somehow make it through the channels."
Dain agreed "Most likely underground."
Krox then said "This town was built on top of an old settlement. It's possible they are holed up in the ruins."
Goblin Slayer nodded "If I was a goblin, it's what I would do. They are not smart, but they are still careful creatures."
The Sword Maiden nodded "That was our assumption as well. We had sent a group of adventurers down in the underground."
Ruri was curious "What happened to them?"
The Sword Maiden lowered her head a bit "None have returned. However, I have heard of Goblin Slayer here and I believe you all can help us."
She then asked, "So Goblin Slayer would you please save our town?"
Goblin Slayer was neutral "I do not know about saving it but let's go kill some goblins."
Goblin Slayer then got up "Let's go we do not have time to waste."
Noctis quickly grabbed his arm "Slow down Goblin Slayer. There are a couple things we should do first. First, we need a map of the underground ruins even if it's old. Just so we have a general lay out and then secondly, we should sleep tonight. It's already getting late, and you have said yourself Goblins are less active in the mornings."
Noctis turned to the Sword Maiden "Have other adventurers and the town guard work extra tonight to lower the casualties and we will take care of the goblins tomorrow."
Noctis continued when he saw that she agreed to it by giving a small bow of acknowledgment. "Now do you have a map of the ruins?"
A couple hours later
Noctis was in his room at the inn everyone was staying at. Goblin Slayer could not argue with his logic, so he resigned himself to resting for the night as well. They had all reviewed the map an hour ago. That way they all had a basic lay out of the ruins.
Noctis was currently in his bed. He finally pulled out his phone. He looked at his screensaver of the drooling Faye and smiled. He then quickly looked at the notification he had received early.
Mission Complete: Survive in this world and become more powerful.
Noctis narrowed his eyes 'It seems I have met certain requirements for something.'
Reward: EX Tier Party System
EX Tier Party System: Allows the host to add people to their party. With this system when completing missions, the Party members will receive rewards as well.
Noctis widened his eyes at the possibilities. With this the whole group could get stronger faster. However, his dreams were slightly crushed by the next line he read.
Only one person can be currently added.
With this new development Noctis was hesitant. He needed some time to think about it. In the meantime, he decided to overlook his stats.

Faye was laying down half naked in her bed. She was currently only wearing her under garments. She covered her face with a pillow and let out a scream.
She frustratingly tossed the pillow across the room "Why does it have to be so complicated."
She rolled her eyes at herself "The whole time we were talking to the Sword Maiden. Why did I have to stare at him."
She walked across the room picking up her pillow as she stared at it "I could not even get a word in. I was just thinking of him."
Faye laid back down holding the pillow above her "I need to focus for tomorrow. There will be no time to think about Noctis. We need to save the town that takes priority. I'm sure Noctis will protect me anyways."
Faye immediately blushed as she started to punch her bed. She then relaxed as she held the pillow above her again. She was staring at the pillow thinking of Noctis's face "Why does he have to be so handsome and strong? Plus, his ears are so cute, being a half high elf, his ears are not as long as mine."
She started to shift her legs around thinking about Noctis as she became uneasy. Her face started to flush as she got a little hot. She reached down her body noticing that she was becoming aroused just thinking about him. She positioned the pillow between her legs thinking the pressure would help distract her, but it only made her more aroused. She immediately noticed how wet she already was. She started to slowly move back and forth around the pillow between her legs. She thought more and more about Noctis. She began to slightly moan utter only a single person's name through part of the night.
Back in Noctis's room
Noctis sneezed "Someone must be talking about me. That's like the fifth sneeze in a row."
Noctis sighed "I better head to bed. I need to be ready for tomorrow. It's going to be serious."
