This room was too stuffy. It was filled to the brim with snobby rich people who didn't have to worry about being drafted. Myself included. If I hadn't come from a semi important family, I would be training to leave like all the other guys my age. I hopelessly looked around for someone I could bare talking too. That's when I saw HER. It seemed as if time stopped. Allowing everyone to gaze in disbelief at such an angel. Her baby blue gown showed how grown yet innocent she was. I need to go talk to this girl before the other powerful young heirs sink their claws into this little fox. I walked as fast and as gentlemanly as I could. I was almost to her when another figure stepped out in front of me and started talking to her. "Wow Juliette, you look... stunning!" The girl, Juliette, blushed slightly. "Thank you Eric, you are too kind." Who is this *ssh*le?!?! Wait--- did he just say Juliette? No, it can't be. Juliette the crown princess. She was far out of my league. I might as well leave no- "Hello?" The voice of an angel called to me. Slowly, I turned around glad and terrified to see that it was Juliette herself. "H-h-h..." I coughed, "Hi." She started walking towards me with an air of Grace. When she reached me, she held out her hand. "My name's Juliette, and you are?" My heart was racing miles a minute. "My name is James, James Moore." A light twinkled in her eye as if she realized something. "Moore... Ahh your family is a huge merchant family, no?" I chuckled and said, "That's the one." The guy named Eric coughed off to the side. "Juliette, there's some people that I think would like to meet you." She looked at him, noticing that he was still there during our whole conversation. "Of course," she turned and looked at me, "I'm sorry James, duty calls. Don't run off or else I won't know how to continue talking to you." She laughed as she was led away by Eric. Even as the party goers were starting to get in-between us, her gaze lingered on me. The way my name escaped her lips entranced me. It seemed as if I hadn't been breathing for those five minutes that went by. I can't believe I just talked to Juliette. She really is as kind, amiable and confident as people say she is. I could feel my face heating up. I started to head for the door to get some fresh air.
