Alex Harper, a regular man from a world much like ours, wakes up one morning to find his life turned upside down. The city around him begins to warp, its skies flickering between strange and terrifying colors, and its people caught in a strange unease. As the laws of nature bend and break, Alex realizes he is not merely a bystander in this chaotic event—he is being drawn into something much bigger.

A system, something straight out of a video game, activates within him, bestowing strange powers and quests as his world collides with another. He finds himself with abilities he never asked for and a destiny he never chose, forced to navigate a reality where even the simplest laws of physics can no longer be trusted.
