Venom caused an uproar when he displayed the documents on the big screen in Times Square.
Everyone's nerves were triggered, and there was a lively discussion online.
Meanwhile, over at the NYPD, there were people pressuring George, considering Venom's rampant behavior as nothing short of blatant provocation.
These individuals were demanding that the police station immediately send out forces to arrest the rampant Venom.
George could tell that this pressure came from the big gangsters in New York, using their connections to various officials to push him. If he wanted to resolve this matter quickly, it would be best to arrest the masked clown under the law.
It was truly ironic that the masked vigilante had no qualms about using execution to punish criminals, while the government, which represents justice, defended them.
George mobilized the entire police force to locate Venom's whereabouts.
While the police station was puzzled about what to do, a few lines of red text appeared on the big screen after the countdown ended.
Upon seeing the coordinates on the screen, everyone reacted immediately. George quickly called his team and loudly instructed, "Go to this location immediately, and remember to secure the scene as soon as you arrive. Don't let the media exploit this!"
After hanging up the phone, George cursed in his mind: "Why does this damn 'Venom' have to be so flashy? Couldn't he have just contacted the police directly?"

The Next Day
Noah and Peter had arranged to play some games together in the evening, with Noah mentioning he'd pick up some things. However, he was delayed dealing with some criminals on the way.
After clearing his thoughts, Noah continued rushing towards where he had parked his car.
Noah drove his black car, stopping at the supermarket to buy some gifts, and then headed to Peter's house.
When he arrived at Peter's house, Noah rang the doorbell.
"Ding dong ~"
Hearing footsteps approaching, Uncle Ben opened the door with a warm smile for Noah.
"Come on in, kid, Aunt May was getting worried about your delay." Uncle Ben smiled and led Noah inside.
"Hello, Aunt May, I brought some gifts. I hope you like them."
"I'm troubling you tonight."
Noah said as he placed the things he had brought on the table.
May smiled gently and said, "Oh, such a sweet boy, you're so thoughtful."
"I was worried you got lost, we should've come to pick you up."
May touched Noah's head and looked at Uncle Ben with a hint of reproach.
Both of them liked Noah, and after several encounters, they felt he was a well-mannered and polite young man.
May was genuinely concerned about Noah. After all, the streets at night were always dangerous, especially recently, when she'd heard rumors of a masked vigilante.
Ben also looked at Noah apologetically and said, "Sorry, Noah. I didn't think it through, we should've come to pick you up. There are always gangsters lurking around at night."
Hearing their words warmed Noah's heart, though he felt a bit guilty for being late and worrying them.
Scratching his head in embarrassment, Noah said, "Actually, I should be the one apologizing. I left late and made you both worry."
Hearing the noise from downstairs, Peter quickly rushed down from his room.
"Hey Noah, I've been waiting for you for a long time, come on! I bought a new Lego set, and I'm waiting for you to help me build it."
Looking at Peter's excitement, Noah said something to Aunt May and Uncle Ben and then followed Peter upstairs.
May also reminded them to bring some snacks along.
Peter enthusiastically brought Noah to his room and closed the door.
He picked up the Lego box and excitedly showed it to Noah.
"Thump, thump, thump! I finally bought this with my allowance after saving up for a long time. Let's build it together today."
"Oh, and also, Venom made huge headlines yesterday. It's so cool! The internet is buzzing with discussions about him!"
As soon as they entered the room, Peter's chatty nature surfaced, and he enthusiastically began talking to Noah about all sorts of things.
Noah listened with a smile.
He found Peter's liveliness endearing, and having a friend like him made Noah quite happy, even though Peter could be a bit talkative.
Noah also discussed Venom with Peter. Peter had been intrigued by Venom ever since he started making waves online.
In other words, most of the youth in New York were talking about him.
At first, people occasionally noticed Venom and discussed him with those he had helped.
Later, as Venom assisted more people, someone created a forum dedicated to discussing him.
Venom's exposure of the Bill case left a strong impression on everyone.
The overwhelming reports and Venom's actions significantly boosted his public profile, which could be seen from the increasing system points.
"So Peter, what do you think of Venom's behavior? Killing criminals directly?"
Peter thought for a moment: "Yeah, I've seen it. To be honest, I didn't believe or understand it when I first saw the news because Venom never killed anyone during all the time he was fighting crime."
"At first, I thought there must've been a mistake, then I couldn't figure out why Venom would do that. Finally, after I saw the Bill case, I think I sort of understand him."
Peter glanced at his computer's background, which was an image someone had taken of Venom. Though it was a bit blurry, it still couldn't hide his appearance.
Peter continued, "Although I don't think he should be killing people, I can understand Venom. As long as he doesn't kill innocent people randomly, he'll always be a hero in my eyes."
Noah looked at Peter, feeling quite content. "You're a good brother. I'll definitely sign an autograph for you as Venom when I get the chance in the future."
Yes, being a hero doesn't mean strictly following the law. A hero just needs to uphold justice in their heart. There will always be people who don't understand, and there will always be people like Peter who support them.
At first, Noah just wanted to fulfill his dream of becoming a superhero, just like in the movies he watched in his previous life. Back then, he didn't understand the weight of the word "hero."
Later, he finally understood the responsibility behind this power, paying a heavy price for it. The life of an innocent person became a painful memory in Noah's heart. He would also bear this burden and continue moving forward steadily.
After chatting with Peter for a while, the two began building the Lego set.
Watching Peter's skilled hands, Noah couldn't help but admire in his heart: "As expected from you, Spider-Man, the geek!"
Noah suddenly thought of something and asked Peter: "By the way, Peter, how are things between you and Mary Jane?"
Peter, who was focused on the Lego, almost flinched at Noah's words.
Peter said shyly, "Nothing new. We've been talking for a few days. She mentioned you and Gwen going out together and said she hasn't gone out in a while."
Noah quickly asked, "And what did you say?"
Peter replied, "I said I hadn't been out in a while either. I heard there are new research findings displayed at the Science and Technology Museum, but I haven't gone to see them yet."
Noah asked again, "And then?"
Peter scratched his head and said, "Then she said she was a bit sleepy, and we said goodnight."
Hearing this, Noah couldn't help but slap his forehead and sigh, "Wow, your emotional intelligence is really in the negatives."
Noah continued, "Mary Jane was hinting that she wanted to hang out with you, you get that?"
"But since she's a girl, she's waiting for you to initiate. So, you have to take the lead, understand?"
"You need to do this, then that, and then this. Got it?"
With Noah's continuous guidance, Peter suddenly understood: "Oh ~ so that's what it was! I get it now."
Noah nodded in satisfaction: "Good. The time is now 9 PM. She's probably home. Call her now. Don't ask her out right away. First, ask about her day, then talk casually about something else. Finally, suggest going out for some fun. My car's here anyway. You can drive it to pick her up tomorrow. Remember to show off your best qualities."
Peter nodded like a good student, taking in every word.
Noah patted Peter's back and said, "Go on, call her."
Hearing that, Peter stood up and went to get his phone, ready to call Mary Jane, but he stopped after taking just one step.
"But what about this Lego?"
Hearing that, Noah said, "Since when are you still thinking about Lego! Go talk to her first. Isn't chatting with Mary Jane more fun than Lego? Right."
Peter chuckled, "Yeah, you're right," and went off to talk to Mary Jane.
Looking at Peter, Noah thought to himself: "Okay, it seems like there's still hope. Damn it, Peter!"
Watching Peter smiling foolishly while talking to MJ, Noah also took out his phone, ready to message Gwen.
"Hey Gwen, did you try the special spices my dad made? How did it taste?"
---
Gwen quickly replied: "It tasted amazing! My mom said it was delicious too."
The two chatted for a bit about their daily lives.
Gwen said with a hint of sadness: "Dad's really busy today. He left this morning and hasn't come back yet."
Noah said: "Is it because of Venom?"
Gwen said, "Yes, today's news is all about Venom. My dad is also busy because of it."
Gwen had discussed Venom with Noah before, at a time when everyone still believed he was an enthusiastic vigilante bringing justice to the streets.
Therefore, after today's news broke, those who had known about Venom before were much more shocked than those who just learned about him today.
Everyone could accept a friendly neighbor who practices chivalry and justice around them, but they could not accept that this neighbor would directly judge criminals.
But for Noah now, what these people thought was not important; what mattered was insisting on his own sense of justice and not allowing more tragedies to happen before his eyes.
After saying this, Noah simply asked Gwen directly, "So what do you think of Venom now? I remember you liked him a lot before."
"I see a lot of people criticizing him today, calling him a terrorist and a killer."
Noah sent the message and waited for Gwen's reply, not knowing why he still felt a little tense.
Noah thought hard: "I don't know what Gwen is thinking."
The sound of the message interrupted Noah's thoughts.
"I still think everyone is going after him. After all, Venom judges criminals. He doesn't kill innocent people indiscriminately."
"Although I think it's better to leave it to the law, I can understand him."
"But if I get the chance to see him, I'll definitely kick his butt for my dad, huh! It's all because of him that my dad is so busy."
Gwen ended the last sentence with an angry emoji 😠.
Seeing Gwen's message, Noah smiled to himself.
"Although I say I don't care about other people's opinions, I really can't ignore the views of those I care about. Fortunately, nothing bloody has happened."
After receiving Gwen's response, Noah felt relieved and became lively again.
Chatting with Gwen also brought the two closer during the conversation.
In Peter's room, both Peter and Noah held their phones, smiling with joy and laughing from time to time.
This is youth.
Meanwhile, at the New York Police Department.
George sat at his desk, continuing to rub his temples.
The hard work throughout the day had exhausted him, and he felt as if he had lost even more hair.
It's settled; he had closed the scene of Bill's death and would provide an official response tomorrow.
George also had complex feelings about Venom; He knew Bill and had caught him before but then he got out.
Thus, Bill's death at the hands of Venom left George feeling very complicated.
As a police officer, he must stand by the law and uphold its dignity.
But aside from this identity, George felt that Venom's behavior was not inappropriate. He knew well how filthy these criminals were and how unwilling they were to escape justice.
Once, he imagined he could use his power to capture all those damned people. Unfortunately, fantasy is just fantasy in the end, drifting away with the dream when you open your eyes.
"Venom," George muttered as he exited the police station. It was late, and he had to go home.
