Holy shit...

100 times! That's insane...

Would it have been 1000 times if I had actually fucked her? Ah, I should have done it, after all...

Wang Lin pondered for a moment as he checked his status screen. Shock was evident on his chiseled face, but it quickly gave way to newfound determination.

"Nah, let's hold the horses for now. First, I need to learn—no, master these babies," he muttered, smiling as he held the two scrolls given to him by the Fifth Elder when he visited the Technique Hall yesterday.

These were the offensive arts he had carefully chosen after thoroughly assessing each technique, especially the ones available only to Core disciples like him.

In other words, these techniques were reserved for the ten Core disciples of the High Heaven Pavilion. Now that he had become one—despite not yet reaching the True Element Realm—he could learn the same techniques as the Five Elders and the select few who possessed them.

The first technique was the Mystic Palm Print, a powerful offensive palm-type martial technique. It allowed the user to unleash an overwhelming palm strike instantly. What made it flexible was the ability to integrate other attribute-related Qi into the attack without disturbance, further enhancing its power.

The second technique was called Qi Blast. This technique enabled the user to release their Qi lethally and swiftly toward the enemy. It was not only powerful but also efficient, consuming minimal Qi with each attack. As mastery over the technique improved, the user could deal twice the damage with half the effort.

Let's get to it then. I need to master these techniques within a week since I can't cultivate Yang Qi at the moment for two reasons.

First, my meridians are still in pain from that reckless stunt I pulled. Advancing so quickly was only possible because of the abundance of Yang Qi in Destitute Dragon Ravine. If it wasn't for that, there is no way I would have broken through so many times in a single go. But I can't absorb all the Yang Qi there—if I do, Yang Bai could break free in no time, and when he does, he'll destroy High Heaven Pavilion without a second thought.

The second reason is that I don't have any Yang-related items right now. I'll need to find another source of Yang Qi besides the Ravine, and I already have a plan for that.

But before any of that, I need to focus on learning these techniques. Luckily, Boost can help with comprehension and other cultivation-related processes, which I realized yesterday... How fortunate is that.

Once Wang Lin finished organizing his thoughts, he stepped outside into his magnificent courtyard. The area was not only spacious but also boasted a small corner where spirit plants grew, though all of them were of the Ordinary grade. Unfortunately, none of them possessed Yang attributes.

After stretching his body a few times to loosen up, Wang Lin began practicing his martial techniques with diligence. As he channeled his focus on mastering the techniques, his mind raced at an astonishing speed, helping him comprehend the flow of Qi and refine his understanding of the martial arts he was working on.

4 hours later~

The harsh rays of sunlight bore down on Wang Lin as he sat on the ground, his robe drenched in sweat. His face showed intense concentration as he carefully regulated the active Yang Qi flowing through his meridians.

After a short while, his expression softened, and he slowly opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was the broken fence of his pavilion, now completely destroyed by the force of the Qi Blast he had unleashed earlier. He hadn't anticipated the sheer power behind the technique, and the result had left him astonished. The speed and strength of the simple Qi Blast were far beyond his expectations; in an instant, the attack had obliterated the fence without resistance.

"What a mess..." He narrowed his eyes, his fingers gently massaging his temples.

"Initial Elements cultivators can't force Qi outside their body!" he muttered, chastising himself.

I should have done some research before trying it out. Thankfully, I cut off the supply halfway, or my Dantian could have shattered in moments. Not that I wouldn't be able to fix it with Miracle Invoker, and my Unyielding Golden Skeleton could repair it with enough Yuan Qi, so having a shattered Dantian isn't a huge problem. Still, I'll avoid using these techniques until I advance to the next realm—Qi Transformation.

My Pure Yang Qi is down to 30% now, leaving just 15 drops of Yang Liquid. Hah, so that's why they say: when cultivating, take it slowly and steadily...

Once Wang Lin had rested enough, he decided to head out since it was still midday. His plan was to purchase Yang-related seeds and items from wherever he could find them, preferably by the end of the day. To accomplish that, however, he first needed a significant amount of money.

Contribution Hall.

Meng Wu Ya, seated behind the counter as usual, jerked his head up when he noticed a disciple in elegant black clothes entering the Hall. With a single glance, he recognized the young man—it was the brat who had recently joined the Sect and took the Body Tempering Manual from him the other day. His striking appearance made him hard to miss. However, what truly shocked Meng Wu Ya was the disciple's cultivation level. Connecting the dots, he realized this was the rumored disciple taken in by his old friend, Ling Tai Xu, as a personal student.

What a terrifying monster... He broke through so many layers in just two days... Meng Wu Ya thought, his mind racing. High Heaven Pavilion will surpass both Storm Manor and Blood Battle Gang in no time...

Once Wang Lin approached the counter, he clasped his hands together and said, "Disciple Wang greets Treasurer Meng."

Meng Wu Ya stroked his mustache a few times, nodding. "So, what do you need this time, brat?"

Hearing himself referred to as a brat, Wang Lin's mouth twitched slightly, but he chose not to be petty. Instead, he calmly replied, "I've come to retrieve my monthly resources as a core disciple. Here's my token," he said, placing the Sect Master's token on the counter.

"Hmm... Alright, this is indeed Ling Tai Xu's genuine token, so he did choose you as his disciple, huh," Old Meng muttered aloud, giving Wang Lin a scrutinizing glance. "So, what do you want with your credits? As a core disciple, you get 150 contribution points and a bottle of Qi Replenishing Pills each month."

Only 150? Wait, how much is that worth anyway?

After a brief pause, Wang Lin said, "Are there any Yang-related items available in the Sect? I'll trade all my contribution points and pills for them."

Meng Wu Ya flipped through his notebook before replying, "We do have some, but the supply is quite meager. The only Yang-related items we currently have are a few low quality Yang herbs..." He couldn't help but suspect that this brat was cultivating a Yang attribute secret art. "So, do you want them?"

That's... unexpected.

A sect this large, and all they have are low quality herbs? And in such low quantity?

Perhaps some Elder or other disciples cultivating Yang techniques have already taken most of the resources...

"Yes, please," Wang Lin said, releasing a sigh. "And whatever contribution points are left, I want them in Taels."

Raising an eyebrow, Meng Wu Ya asked, "All of them?"

Wang Lin nodded instantly.

Is he planning to buy more in the Black Wind Marketplace? Old Meng thought, but didn't dwell on it, replying lazily, "Wait a moment then."

After a short while, Wang Lin left the Contribution Hall, carrying a small pouch filled with Taels tucked within his robe and a medium-sized bag of Yang Herbs hanging from his waist.

Herbs cost 30 contribution points, and the Tael exchange rate was 1:10, so I got 1200 silver Taels for 120 contribution points and 5 gold Taels for 10 Qi Replenishing Pills. One gold Tael is worth 1000 silver Taels, which makes those pills quite expensive... Not that it matters. Even if I consume them, this hungry skeleton would absorb everything like an endless pit. When I broke through to the Initial Element Realm, the skeleton devoured all the World Energy meant to cleanse my marrow and veins, while I was refining Yang Qi. Well, at least it helps with recovery and boosts battle efficiency, so I guess it's not a total loss...

"Well, then. Let's head to the Marketplace..." Wang Lin decided. But first, he needed to find a few companions to guide him. Without further ado, he made his way to Su Mu's place.
