Just as he did that, the information about the technique entered his mind and took root. As he opened his eyes, that were reflecting excitement. He open his mouth and uttered,"Eternal Soul Primordial Lotus Art".

This technique 'Eternal Soul Primordial Lotus Art' is a soul cultivation technique. This technique would allow him to actively absorb spiritual energy from his surroundings, whether it was from the world or from other sources. But that was not the only thing.

While he was constructing this art, he remembered about a few soul cultivation techniques he had read about. So he added a few more things that would allow him to make his soul stronger and also allow his comprehension to grow.

He first added to it the soul technique from Zhou Yuan Venerable, the 'Primordial Chaos Divine Grindstone Visualisation Technique'. So when using this technique to fortify his soul, the user will be transported to a place where he will experience the first Chaotic Burst that kick started the process of creation.

The user will be subjected to soul-wrenching pain as the explosions would destroy his soul and then rebuild it, making it stronger through the process of destruction and recreation.

He also incorporated in it that if the user has the soul warming lotus, the process of healing and rebuilding will be really swift. The lotus would also make it impossible that he would die because of his soul collapsing, and would protect his soul.

The next function was from the novel 'The Journey of the Fate Destroying Emperor'. This function wasn't a soul technique in that novel but it did give him an inspiration. This function would allowed him to create multiple soul clones that would increase his comprehension ability, as he could just order the clones to learn about or improve a technique with his own comprehensions while he himself would be able to do other things.

The clones could also be used in furthering his dao understandings, as with more clones his thinking and comprehension ability would also increase to a terrifying degree. The clone could theoretically also be used to constently revolve a technique for him. He could create soul clones but he currently didn't knew what the limit would be.

After learning the technique, yang feng opened his eyes in the outside world and looked at the lotus, but there was still time for the bottle to absorb all the energy inside the barrier.

So he again closed his eyes and started to cultivate to reach his peak state, as after he absorbed the lotus he would be attacking the immortal ascension realm.

On the other hand, It has been a few days since Su Yan started looking around for any treasure in the surroundings. In the past few days although she found a few herbs and materials, but she couldn't use them as they were not of ice or yin attribute.

But she stored them in a bag that yang feng had given her before they left the golden palace in the inheritance cave. She was really intrigued with this bag as yang feng had told her that this was a universe bag that had an extended space in it and could hold items.

Yang feng had also given one to Xia Ning Chang when they were flying to reach this island. Although Yang feng wanted to give them space rings, but he didn't have the materials for it nor could he make one for now.

When Su Yan was exploring near the far end of the mountain on the island, she felt a powerful cold aura coming from somewhere near her. 'this aura is definitely coming from a ice attribute treasure.' she thought with a bit of excitement.

After locating the source of the cold aura, she reached an enterance of a cave. Looking at the the enterance in front of her, she raised her guard and slowly started to enter the cave tunnel.

She knew that where there is a treasure, there is a monster beast guarding it from other. So with vigilance she enter deeper into the cave tunnel.

After a minute of walking she exited the tunnel and reached a naturally formed cave. The cave was in the circular shape and had a pond of 25 meters radius in the middle. The water in the pond was emitting a cold aura.

She didn't knew what it was, but she knew that the water in the pond was a perfect tonic for her cultivation. Just as she was thinking, she felt a sudden feeling of danger from her left side.

With a great show of agility and flexibility he evaded whatever was approaching her and swiftly turned to face it.

She saw a spider monster beast emitting an aura of a peak 4th tier monster beast, infact it looked to be just half a step away from tier 5.

The spider was blue in color, had icy blue carapase and legs.what was unusual about it was that it was only about 2 meters tall, which is considered quite short for a monster beast of such level of cultivation.

When the spider saw that it's target evaded, it faced her again and threw a spiderweb that looked to be made of ice at her.

Seeing the spiderwebs coming her way Su Yan used her movement technique and like a fairy dancing evaded the attack again. While evading the attack a sword had suddenly appeared in her hand.

The Sword had a slender, crystal-clear blade with a frosty sheen, resembling a delicate snowflake. The sword's hilt is adorned with intricate carvings of snowflakes and ice crystals, made from a pale blue metal that seems almost ethereal. The pommel is shaped like a small snowflake, adding to the sword's overall wintry theme.

This sword was a Low-Mysterious grade Artifact that yang feng had given her, as this sword was made from an ice ore as the main material it would enhance her attack power with her ice Qi.

He gave her this after she told him that she wanted to use a sword as her weapon and had previously trained with one, but due to not finding a compatible one she gave up on the sword path. He also knew from the original that she had quite the affinity for a sword.

Although it looked like they only dual cultivated in the golden palace, but the truth is after their first time they also focused on their techniques and normal cultivation as well.

During that time, she had already refined the sword and with yang feng's help the process was really fast.

She then used a earth grade sword technique, that she had comprehended herself, with her movement technique and appeared near the spider, ready to attack it. The spider noticed this and used one of it's leg, that shone like a blade under the sunlight, at her to counter the sword move.

*Tink* the next moment the sound of metal hitting metal sounded in the cave. The spider had used a move that made it's legs as sharp as a metal.

Seeing this Su Yan didn't back down and again attacked the spider. It went on like this for a few more clashes, but with time it looked as if the spider was struggling to actually do anything but defend against her.

Eventually, the spider suddenly let out a screech *srrrreeeee* and it's front two legs separated from it's body and it fell to the ground.

Su Yan didn't let this moment go and used a great amount of Qi and channeled it to the sword, and with swift persision beheaded the spider by striking it at the weakpoint of it's neak.

"*Feu* my strength has increased greatly since last time, I would have to work a bit more if I fought it with my previous strength. But now..." She thought as she shook her head and smiled while thinking about how her life changed so greatly in just a month.

'Now with that done, I should focus on the opportunity' she thought as she shifted her focus to the pond.

Meanwhile, Xia Ning Chang could be seen refining some pills in a cave. Since entering the island she had found many rare and high grade herbs and also a few monster beast, oddly she only encountered Peak Tier 4 or below monster beasts.

What she didn't knew was that Meng Wu Ya would kill any tier 5 monster beast that would approach her with ill intentions. So she continued to refine pills with the ingredients she gain and would look for any other heaven and earth treasures that would let her advance quickly.

But even with only just refining pills and normal cultivation, she was able to increase her realm quickly because of the quality and quantity of the herbs present on the island.

{A-Note: I realized that Xia Ning Chang's cultivation technique was not really explained much. And even I haven't done so, which I plan on resolving in a few chapters.}

One day as she was exploring, she suddenly felt a certain fluctuation a little distance away from her. Curious, she went towards the origin of the fluctuation and when she reached there, she saw a herb that was releasing an aura she hadn't felt before.

But whatever the herb was, she wasn't able to tell and this made her excited as this means that she discovered a herb that was either extinct or was not from this small world.

'I should ask yang feng or master if they know what this herb is.', she quickly but carefully took the herb and left the area. When she reached the cave, where she stayed earlier she called out,"master take look at what I found!"

She exclaimed, much to Meng wu ya's surprise who has been hiding from her and silently protecting her. But he sighed and appeared in front of her as he could tell that he was discovered.

Of course, Xia ning cheng had discovered him as no matter how you look at it, her adventure in the last few days had been too easy and she was not so naive to believe that it was actually so.

After some thinking she had came to the conclusion that her master was secretly protecting her. But she hadn't said anything, now she was really curious about the herb so she simply blew up her master's cover and asked him.

"Hmm, this herb is called Qi Norishment Bloom. Judging from it's aura it's a spirit grade herb, if you refine and absorb it, you will be able to breakthrough to the 8th or even 9th layer True element realm." He said with some excitement in his voice.

Xia ning cheng was also a little surprised and happy as with this she would be able to breakthrough to the immortal ascension realm within a month or two as yang feng had said before.

She then sat down and slowly started to refine the herb into pills to enhance their effect. It took her some time to do this, as the pills that were refined were of peak low-mysterious grade.

Under yang feng's guidance she was able to refine low mysterious pills before they had left for the island, so although it took time it wasn't too difficult for her.

After the pills we're done, as she was able to refine 5 pills, she ate one pill and started to absorb the Qi in them with her cultivation technique, which her master had given her.

For the next few days, she continued to absorb the pills which alivated her cultivation.

After a few days, inside a cave yang feng opened his eyes and looked at the soul warming lotus and a jade bottle in front of him.
