Anita didn't say anything.
Adam smoked and said, "Judy, take her away right now and stay away from this kind of person in the future."
"Anita, let's get out of here." Today Adam was particularly scary. Judy was very sensible, dragged Anita, and fled from the villa.
They got in the car.
Judy patted her chest in shock. "Anita, I told you. My brother has a very strong sense of personal territory. I took you there without telling him in advance, so he'll be upset."
Anita glanced back. The car was moving slowly, farther and farther away from the villa she had dreamed of living in.
She couldn't get the image of Adam and Lumma together out of her mind.
She knew better than anyone how much Adam rejected women. She had approached him in countless ways before, but he had turned her away.
Lumma was the only young girl she had ever seen who could get so close to Adam.
