Lumma certainly knew how excellent Adam was, and he was definitely worth a perfect score. "Miss Mandy, why didn't you give him 100 points?"
"Well, I had to take away a point because he's not my man." Astrid thought for a while and made an example that only girls could understand. "It's like when you fancy an out-of-print bag, but you are told that someone else bought it when you want to pay. Think about that feeling. Can you still give that bag 100 points?"
It was the first time Lumma heard someone use a bag as a metaphor for Adam. She laughed happily. "Miss Mandy, you're such a talker. I love it."
"Miss Mandy? Just call me Astrid." Astrid filled Lumma's glass with wine again. "Lumma, you know, I like you very much too. I stared at you for so long at the opening ceremony today, but you never looked at me."
