This restaurant was quite unique, each table was separated by bamboo curtains, through which you could vaguely see the presence of people inside without being able to see them clearly. The waiter guided Nian Bing and Rong Bing to a table at the back of the first floor near the window. As they passed the other tables, they saw through the bamboo curtains that all the tables were occupied except for this one.
The spot was quite perfect, as lifting the bamboo curtain would give a clear view of everything on the street. Although there were many people in the restaurant, it was not noisy at all.
Rong Bing smiled and said, "We two can sit here. Although it's not a private room, I like the openness of this place. The private rooms upstairs are all big enough to accommodate dozens of people, we don't need that."
