Chương 232: THE DUKE'S VISIT

Magdalene entered her room and Immediately went to rake through the box that contained physician tools. She brought out another small box from the box and removed a key from her dress to unlock. She removed the book of sorcery also known as the book of old and began to read through it.

There was no time to waste, she really needed to heal the king. Then she had to find a way to stop the readings on the full moon day. Magdalene dropped the book before pulling out a quill, ink and a paper. She began to write about the false ingredients she would need to cure him. She just couldn't heal him like that as it would look very suspicious. Instead she will create a tonic that had special healing properties.

Soon the butler knocked on her door. Magdalene folded the paper and went to the door.

"The queen sent me to you" He said. Magdalene nodded and gave him the paper.

"The things I'll need are written down here" She instructed and he nodded.
