Mu Yue casts her spell which made the principal surprised. Only using a day to properly cast a spell despite it being a slow cast is still good.
'This girl has good potential.'
"You indeed have talent in being a Spell Cultivator. If you would just focus on being one, I'm sure you will go far. Still, it's your decision so I won't force you. The way you cast your spell is already good, I'm sure you already asked help from Xiao Yan. You can already cast it within 10 seconds. Keep on practicing until it becomes 5 seconds or lower."
Mu Yue then asked, "Is there a way to cast spells while I'm using the sword? Is it also possible to use both at the same time?"
"Since you're the first cultivator I saw that has the chance to use both, I don't have a clue yet. If you are referring to those cultivators who have elements on their sword or body, the elements come from their affinity. "
"The affinity is found in the spirit root. The unique energy of Weapon or Body Cultivators passes through here first, getting a slight elemental prowess. This doesn't make it stronger, it just adds a unique boost to their attacks in exchange for lesser pure energy."
"If an attack with imbued element meets an attack of pure energy, as long as they have the same amount of energy, the pure energy attack will win. This however is rare, most elemental used are lightning and wind, which makes their attacks faster. They tend to avoid using their attacks to meet their enemies."
Mu Yue listened and was sad to know that the principal can't give her any tips. She now has to do some experiments on how to do so. Thinking about it again, she realized that she will first have to be able to have two professions at Foundation Establishment before thinking about this problem.
Mu Yue left the room. It was almost night time, she then went to the cafeteria to eat dinner. The moon was already up when she left so she heads to her chosen area to cultivate under the moonlight.
The yin energy in the moonlight was weaker as only a small portion of the moon was visible. This still helped in boosting Mu Yue's cultivation. Meanwhile, a certain someone was waiting and didn't sleep.
Mu Yue finished cultivating and went to go back to the dorm. She saw Liu Yang and decided to greet her.
"Hey there Liu Yang"
"Oh Mu Yue, do you know the reason why Xiao Yan is in a bad mood?"
"Huh???"
Seeing that Mu Yue didn't know that Xiao Yan was in a bad mood, Liu Yang advised, "Since you are always with her I advise you to be careful or you might receive her anger."
Mu Yue tried to think of a reason why Xiao Yan will be in a bad mood. She couldn't think of anything since the last time she saw Xiao Yan, she was still in a good mood. She then went back to her room and saw Xiao Yan sitting in the bed.
"Mu Yue, where did you go last night?" Xiao Yan asked.
"I was cultivating outside." Mu Yue took some clothes and went to the bathroom to take a bath.
Since Xiao Yan was in a bad mood and she hasn't mentioned it to her yet, she decided to just continue her daily routine, most of the time without Xiao Yan.
This continued for a week and she entered the peak level on the night of a full moon. Unexpectedly, she felt that she was starting to breakthrough. She felt the temperature drop until it froze her surroundings. She endured the cold and didn't faint. She reached the 4th step when morning came.
The spot was hidden so no one saw her breaking through. When she went back to their dorms, her dorm mates were shocked at her cultivation speed.
"You were just in middle level off 3rd step last week and now you're at 4th step of Qi Condensation. As expected of the first rank." Fei Hong exclaimed.
"Your cultivation speed is enviable Mu Yue." Liu Yang said.
"I have to speed up my cultivation since there will be a tournament six months later." She can't tell them about her unique cultivation method so she could only say that she worked harder.
