Daemon locked the door of the practice room and turned to the two others in the room. He didn't care about the unconscious one for now, focusing on the one drowning in his own blood for now instead.

Indeed, the first intruder Daemon had pierced the lung of was struggling to breath from his position sitting on the ground, with his back against the wall. One could not say who had it worse between him and the lookout left dead outside.

Actually, maybe the first intruder had it worse, as the lookout would have died faster with his wound at the neck, while he would suffer more by surviving longer.

Moving to lean against the wall was all he had managed to do while Daemon had been focused on his comrade. The blood filling his lung made him let out gurgling sounds, part of the liquid coming to fill his mouth and drip from his chin.

Daemon came to stand before the man, his eyes calm empty as if to swallow life. He spoke in a flat voice:
