"Knock, knock, knock."
Upon hearing the knocking at the door, Charlotte Cooper looked at Henry Russell: "Shall I open the door? I wonder who it could be."
Instead, Henry gently stopped Charlotte with a hand. Charlotte looked at him. Henry's tone was low and gentle as he said, "I will go. You take a rest."
Charlotte glanced at Henry. With another knock on the door, her expression remained steady, and she was as beautiful as ever.
"Hurry up, they seem a bit anxious. But what could it be?"
"Just sit and wait for me." In the depths of Henry's eyes was a love that Charlotte couldn't understand. "There shouldn't be any problem. Don't overthink it."
"I hope so." Charlotte shifted her gaze to her phone, her demeanor becoming lazier, whether it was due to Henry's love or some other reason.
A smile played at the corners of Henry's lips. He thought, "She should be like this. Isn't this what I hope for after my rebirth?"
