In truth, section 3 that Zick was in just a while ago was just a fake lab. It was to fool the people who came to invade it in the future. 

That was the reason, the genie without any hesitation prepared to self-destruct at once. The real lab was named silver wing, it was hidden even deeper underground, and myriads of golems would come to attack the people invading it instantly.

Zick had come to section 3 to gain control of the whole silver wing system. 

In the novel, Aeiron discovered this fact after getting control of the lab. The old alchemy tower was very cautious, they even prepared to give up so many of their research center in case someone strong broke into the lab. 

It was a decisive move, this showed their fortitude regarding the research deep below the ground. 

Opening his eyes, Zick found himself in a dark room, the magic circle below his feet glowed dimly. With the sound of a machine activating, the light around the room glowed brightly.
