Chương 15: Package of surprises!
Both Aditi and Tanish had been suppressing their feelings for this long and this passionate kiss had awaken their inner desires and as they were to proceed with their love making, they were interrupted by the doorbell.
Aditi was taken to reality by the noise of the doorbell and she was a bit worried as to who might be the one disturbing her this late at night. She straightened her clothes and adjusted her hair while heading towards the door while Tanish sat on the couch completely disappointed with this interruption.
Aditi opened the door and there was yet another shock, she started sweating a bit; on the door was her mom and her sister Dhruvi, each carrying a beautifully wrapped gift for her, she was now tensed as Tanish and her chemistry was completely unknown to everyone except for Riya and she was worried as to how her mom would react after seeing him.
Tanish was also shocked to see them return without any notice. He seemed calm on his face but he was utterly tensed inside and he couldn't figure out how to answer in this situation.
Her mom and Dhruvi came in and hugged Aditi and wished her for her birthday and then handed her the presents they bought for her. As Aditi hugged her mom , Dhruvi noticed the ring on her hand and she excitedly asked "who gifted you this beautiful ring, fatty ??" and her mom immediately took a look at the ring and then at Aditi and then asked her "What's with this ring?... it seems quite extravagant n expensive! " , Aditi was speechless, she tried to think of a reason but her mind went blank and then Tanish entered from behind and introduced himself as her fiancé, to which Aditi was even more surprised.
Mrs. Parakh was shocked as well but she couldn't believe it that Aditi had engaged without even letting her know about it. She knew that their bond wasn't that strong but still she couldn't believe the fact that Aditi had engaged without letting her know. Aditi kept the gifts aside and went up to explain the whole thing to her mom but before she could do so Tanish had taken her mom to the couch and made her seated and then he gave her a glass of water and patiently he explained her all the things between Aditi and him, her mom listened to him patiently and then she went up to Aditi and held her hands in hers and said "Aditi, I never once thought that despite being under the same roof, you could feel so distanced from your mom that you did not bother to even let me know about your feelings. I agree, it was my fault that I've not given your the time and support you needed at that time, but I'm still your mom and I do care for you and love you a lot my dear, ... I know I've not been a good mom but I'll always be there to support you , whatever your decision may be " , hearing this from a headstrong person as her mother , Aditi was feeling very emotional and she hugged her mom and told her about her feelings for Tanish and that she loved him a lot.
Her mom hesitated at first but then she agreed on her marrying with Tanish to which they both were more than happy. Indeed this birthday was a complete package of surprises for her .
At first Aditi felt guilty for hiding things from her mom but after hearing her approval, her happiness had no bounds and she hugged Tanish in excitement to which both Mrs. Parakh and Dhruvi were very happy to see Aditi so happy after such a long time.
