Chương 168: Recruiting the Dwarves Part 1

***ALEX'S POV***

"Please Doc, will you sit and talk to me? You too, Sneezy. I..I want to explain some things to you." I looked between them and saw that they turned to stare at each other for a moment. They weren't sure if they should agree to this situation or not, but I was hoping that they would see that I wasn't the threat here. Not really. And I really just wanted to help them. I wanted to get them out of this life of forced servitude to a boss that they were terrified of.

"Just talking, right?" Sneezy looked worried as he finally sat the plate of food in front of me.

"Yes, Sneezy, just talking. I have something to tell you, and something to ask you. Will you please hear me out?" I was answering him, and I did glance at him, but for the most part I was looking at Doc. I knew that if I won him over, I would have Sneezy's cooperation as well. In fact, if I just won Doc over in general, I should be able to get all seven of them on board with me.
