Nah it’s too complicated and forced. I don’t understand why people write about underground world when it’s not interesting. Bruh needs to come up with something interesting because this ain’t it
Mc is reborn as a third tier human mortal in an underground fortress, the original just killed himself from depression. Most of this story is MC going through various heart wrenching situations forcing him to cultivate his Dao Heart. Main character is an immortal who went through no heart tribulations in his first life, he spent six years as a mortal and the entirety of the rest of his life pursuing the dao having no need to gather resources, his years unstained by any problem just cultivating. Rejecting all contact and all experience opting to cultivate. He reached the peak of cultivation having no life experience and made the final break through only to fail to withstand the tribulation lightning. The story is written by the author of Senior brother is too steady, a great novel. Author brings his experience here and has a main character who just can't steadily cultivate, the word he lives in doesn't allow it. You can really feel it that MC is basically six years old. He just cultivated for 100+ years before dying to lightning. The way MC reacts to small injustice and grievance is in a way innocent.
