In a local hospital located in the north east of England, there was a ward where screams of pain echoed and travelled down the hall outside. "Aaah!"
There were words of encouragement and others talking inside the room that came from a male voice. "Come on, you can do it. One, two, push!"
The time had passed until the noise died down within and a weak baby cry was heard from within.
The attending doctor who delivered the child had a strange look on her face as she held the wrapped up child in her arms. "It.. it is a girl."
The mother and father showed joy upon hearing the news then looked over to try to take a look at the child. "Can I hold her?"
The doctor hesitated and thought to herself. 'The mother has just been through a great ordeal.. it would be best to delay seeing the child for now.'
She came to a decision right away after some thought which had been decided to be in the best interests of the patient. "Once you have been rested up and she has spend a little time in the baby ward, I will bring her over to you."
The mother and father looked a little confused about the doctor's words but the father had looked towards his weak wife then saw her condition, he nodded in agreement. "We can wait a little longer. We have the rest of her long life to see her after all."
The child was taken away to the baby ward where she was laid down, the doctor took one final look at the child and checked over their bodies condition. "Hah.. please be good parents. This world really is becoming much crazier, not everyone would be able to accept a child like this."
In front of her eyes was a small baby, if the baby was just ordinary then the doctor would not have been acting so strangely.
The facial features of the baby were very cute and her skin was very clear and clean, she was so cute that it seemed very unnatural and unreal.
When the doctor had touched the skin of the baby, there was a softness of a normal baby that was missing and it was instead smooth and harder than normal.
It was like the baby was born different from ordinary humans and had a different body structure than others.
There were some sections of the body of the baby near the joins or limbs that were arranged differently than ordinary humans.
The baby had a single tiny strand of black hair on top of her head, her face was cute like a doll with bright green eyes showing once her eyes had opened to look around the room.
Her whole body was built like it was some kind of toy doll or mannequin that was made from some kind of ceramic material.
The doctor had finished examining the baby and sighed. "She has a strange body type but I guess this is a normal thing to be seen everyday now."
She talked like she had encountered many strange scenes during her time as a doctor and the sight of the baby that had a body of a doll was not anything to be worried about.
Her only worry was if the parents would be as accepting of the child as she had been.
Not everyone would be so happy to gain a child with such a strange appearance.
There would be parents that would be too shocked by what they had given birth to and there would be cases of the child being rejected.
If the child could not even gain the love of their own parents then it was likely that they would have no support system available to them for when they encountered the same rejection from those outside of the family.
The world had changed with one mutation that had started it all and the first super powers had manifested, slowly there were more powers that started appearing until the power users had started to outgrow those that did not have powers.
In order to deal with the changes and the ongoing misuse of those powers, heroes appeared all over the world and each country had their own main hero or a group of heroes that was their own symbol for heroism and justice.
Those powers were known as Quirks and just like any other person, the baby in front of the doctor had been born with the characteristics of someone that had already taken on the appearance of their Quirk.
Among the different type of Quirk users that manifested abilities, there were some that did not have much of a difference from an ordinary human but there were others that were known as mutant Quirks.
Mutant Quirk users or otherwise known as heteromorphs were usually the targets of discrimination so the baby seemed to fit among those category of Quirk users.
Usually children started to show characteristics of their Quirk once it started manifesting in their younger years but there were others that were born with those characteristics.
Those characteristics would provide doctors with some guesses about what kind of Quirk they would possibly gain in the future while other children would have to wait until much later to find out what they could manifest.
If the doctor had to guess what kind of Quirk the baby girl had then it would be related to dolls, toys, puppets, mannequins or something similar and that was the reason behind her appearance and body type.
It would be a difficult time for the baby to grow up if their parents were unable to accept them and their unique body would come with its fair share of difficulties.
More tests needed to be done to determine just how much of the child was made up of a human and how much was a doll.
A living doll was born into the world and she had slept soundly as she did not know about the worries of the doctor or what the future had in store for her.
