Chloe begins to read the book that I buy from Martha and realizes that they are accounts of experiences lived by a man named Abraham, who had done a series of investigations regarding paranormal phenomena.
In the book the author named Abraham explained in a very detailed way how his experience had been in relation to his discoveries and also related why he had been interested in this type of research and how he came to verify each of the events described in his records.
Abraham said that the spirits, ghosts or souls of a person after dying, wandered without rest when they died in difficult and very confusing circumstances that prevent them from clarifying the real reasons or circumstances of their death.
In that sense, Abraham maintained that according to the traumatic circumstances of what could have been the death of a person, the case of not knowing what to do can arise, since they cannot find the way to the hereafter. For this reason, souls continue to wander in the world of the living without being fully aware of their death.
Chloe is very intrigued to learn about the kind of investigations and paranormal phenomena that Abraham was talking about. He was so curious to discover who that person had been that he decided to seek more information about it.
Chloe knew that she could start investigating with Martha's help, since she was the one from whom she bought the book.
At the end of her work day at the Henderson family house, Chloe immediately goes to Martha's house and after greeting her and exchanging a few words with her, Chloe asks her:
- Martha, where does the book come from and who is Abraham?
-- Do you know him?
Martha, quite surprised, replies:
- Abraham was my husband!
Then Martha adds and tells him.
- I did not realize that this book was one of the copies that I keep from my husband, since the entire book is typewritten. - Martha tells Chloe that she keeps many records of her husband and they are all written in her own handwriting. However, she also recognizes that her husband was a very careful person and each of his records was bound to always keep them in good condition -.
The most worrying thing for Chloe is that surely Martha could have the intention of returning the sale of the book. However, Chloe in a very clever way was ahead of him and asked:
- Surely you want to get the book back, right?
Martha replies:
- Well, the main records I have very well kept, however I propose something, keep it yourself, but if I need it I will request it.
Chloe satisfied with the established agreement, continues with the intention of continuing to ask questions, but I notice that Martha did not want to continue talking about the subject and Chloe, in order not to cause her inconvenience, preferred to respect her silence.
