Author's Note:
This fanfic is inspired by "Lightning Human in MHA." I just want to say that I have been planning this fanfic for a long time, and I hope you enjoy it. I will set the rules of this fanfic in the next chapter, so you can build on this story with me.
Shit," he said, shaking his head in frustration. "I guess the series will never reach an actual ending then." I sighed and put my phone down, still digesting the article I had just read about the author of Hunter x Hunter. He had released three possible endings to the series in case he was never able to finish it. Hunter x Hunter was my favorite series, just a notch below One Piece. The idea of it never reaching a true conclusion felt like a punch to the gut. Well, I thought, it was a good ride while it lasted, but everything has to end at some point.
I placed my phone on my bed and stood up, feeling the need for a distraction. Maybe a snack would help clear my head. I walked out of my room and headed to the kitchen. As I opened the door to my dark apartment, I realized that my roommate must not have known I was still here and had turned off all the lights before leaving.
The apartment was eerily quiet, and as I made my way to the kitchen, I noticed a strange smell in the air. I furrowed my brow, puzzled. "What the hell is that smell?" I muttered to myself. It was faint but distinctly off-putting. I shrugged my shoulders, thinking I would investigate after turning on the lights.
I reached out and flipped the switch. Suddenly, an explosive force knocked me off my feet, and the world around me turned into chaos. BOOM! The only thing I could see is Fire and smoke before I closed my eyes for good
"HHHHHHHHHHH?" I woke up screaming, still reeling from the shock of the explosion. My heart pounded in my chest as the memory of the blast replayed in my mind. "That bastard left the gas on! I swear to God, I'm going to kill him," I muttered angrily.
I spent the next couple of hours mentally chasing my roommate, venting my frustration and cursing his carelessness. I was so consumed by my anger that I barely noticed my surroundings at first. But as my rage subsided, I realized I wasn't in my apartment anymore.
I was in a dark, infinite space, the kind of place you only see in dreams or movies. Ahead of me, there was a being of pure light, seated on a magnificent throne that seemed to glow with an ethereal radiance. We locked eyes, and the silence stretched between us.
After what felt like an eternity, I finally spoke. "So, I guess since I'm already dead, it's totally natural to meet a being like you," I said, my voice tinged with a mix of awe and confusion. This was beyond anything I could have ever imagined.
The being looked at me with a calm, serene expression, almost as if it had been expecting me. I never expected that my day would end up like this. One moment, I was in my apartment, and the next, I was standing before an otherworldly entity in a place that defied all logic and understanding.
"Hello there, I am God. I'm about to reincarnate you. So, congratulations!"
I stood there, speechless, my mind racing to catch up with what was happening. "Wait, wait. Why do you, God, want to reincarnate me?"
God smiled, a gentle and reassuring expression. "Well, it's a long story involving one of your ancestors. We made a deal that I would look after his descendants."
"A deal? And I'm being dragged into this? Are you going to send me on some crazy mission, like to defeat a demon god or something?" I asked, my voice tinged with both curiosity and apprehension.
God chuckled softly. "No, no, none of that," He said, shaking His head. "I can tell you the story, but I assure you it's completely irrelevant to you. I'm not going to do anything, and no one will watch what you do when you get reincarnated, including me. I have universes to watch over."
"So, what's the point then? What am I supposed to do?" I asked, still trying to grasp the enormity of the situation.
"You can do whatever you want when you get there," God replied. "Live your life however you choose. There are no strings attached, no grand missions, no divine interventions. You are free to shape your destiny as you see fit."
I blinked, processing His words. The idea of starting over with a blank slate was both daunting and exhilarating. "So, you're just giving me a second chance at life?"
"Precisely," God said with a nod. "Think of it as an opportunity to explore, to grow, to experience new things. The choice is entirely yours."
I took a while to absorb His words. I took a deep breath and said, "So, what do I have to work with? Do I go into a random dimension, or are you going to give me something?"
"No to the first, yes to the second," God replied. "You will choose what you will be reincarnated into, and I will give you three wishes. Keep in mind, the wishes have to be reasonable—not something like the ability to destroy the universe with a thought or anything overpowered like that. Also, you can choose to keep your appearance or have a brand-new one."
Hearing this, my eyebrows shot up. I smirked and said, "In that case, I want the perfect appearance of Killua Zoldyck."
God smiled. "Oh, I see now. The perfect appearance, you want the Zoldyck genes."
I grinned. "So, can I have it?"
God chuckled. "I can give you his appearance, but I can't give you the Zoldyck bloodline. You would have to wish for that."
"Tsk, fine," I said, then added with a mischievous grin, "Then, give me a massive cock."
God burst into laughter, rolling on the floor. "Who the hell just says 'I want to have a big cock' out of the blue?"
"Well, any man in my position would think the same thing. Don't judge," I said, my tone defensive but with a hint of amusement.
God finally stopped laughing and wiped a tear from His eye. "Alright, alright. I will give you Killuas Appearance and The big stick you want god Chuck a bit after he said that So What's your three wishes
"The first wish you already know: the Zoldyck bloodline. The second wish is the power of the Goro Goro no Mi, Enel's Devil Fruit. It was one of my favorites. Honestly, it was a waste to give it to him. I will give you the devil fruit but keep in mind it will Have a minor change of how it works depending on the universe you choose.
Lastly, for the third wish, I realized I won't automatically become the best at everything just because I'm reincarnated. I was just a normal person in my previous life, so there's really only one option for the third wish. I want talent. I want to be one of the most talented people in the universe that I will and up in.
God nodded. "Who do you want to choose?"
"Oh, I almost forgot, you still haven't chosen the world yet," God continued.
"I've actually thought about that too. I've chosen MHA."
"MHA? I thought you were going to choose one of your favorite series," God said, looking a bit surprised.
"Well, yes, but I have a little plan. Well, it's not exactly a plan. Izuku Midoriya is, for me, a trash MC, so I won't feel guilty when I steal One For All from him."
"Oh, I get it now," God said with a smile. "But since you brought up MHA, there's a different MHA world I think you'll be interested in."
"What do you mean?" I asked, intrigued.
"Well, I don't really want to spoil it for you, but it's a strange MHA-based world. The story will remain the same, but outside it, the world itself is unbelievably different. That's the part I think you'll be interested in. It's the only world like this, so I'm pretty sure when you discover the true nature of the world, you'll leave the original story of MHA alone and explore the world."
Hearing this, I knew from the way God talked that he was actually recommending this world and not tricking me. The thought of a world like he described excited me. "Alright then, I will reincarnate in that world."
