Chương 10: Chapter 10~Dilemma

After the examination I decided to go for shopping with my bestie Angie. A day before the shopping day, Angie and I planned what to buy for the prom night. I asked Angie if someone has asked her to go to the prom party with her and she mentioned Andrew the nerd. I was so surprised because my bestie Angie only liked play boys. Well I guess everyone has their own choices. She asked me if someone had asked to accompany me to the prom party and I said not yet. We figured what dresses to buy and necklaces. The next morning, we were ready and we set off to the boutique. On our arrival at the boutique, we saw many of our colleagues who comes from a well to do family just like me and Angie. The boutique was expensive to the extent that paupers cannot afford any of their items. Angie got a dress immediately we entered the boutique. As for my dress, we searched the entire boutique for about thirty minutes to one hour but we never found the perfect one. Lo and behold, we found two red dresses which was my favorite. One was short but was a bit tighter and the other one was a beautiful long gown designed with stones and artificial diamond. Both was my favorite so I asked Angie to help me choose one since I couldn't figured what to choose. Eventually, Angie too was indecisive about the dress. I became stressed out. Fortunately for us, Josh arrived at the boutique so I asked him to choose one for me and he chooses the gown. I was so thankful to him. I later asked what were he doing there and he told me he is there to purchase some suit for the party. I wondered how he was able to afford the money since he was kinda poor. I asked him in a polite way and he told me Sabina gave it to him as a gift. I said ok to him and headed out with Angie. I was so jealous to see my crush purchasing clothes with my greatest enemy's money. We sat in my car and asked the driver to take us to the famous jewelries store. As usual we found some of our mates there on our arrival. We entered the shop and I asked for the best necklaces there and I was directed to the place. Angie got a diamond bracelet and an earring. While I was glancing through the jewelries I saw Stephen there. I drew closer to him and asked him what he was doing there. He to me that he was there to purchase a wrist watch. He decided to assist me in selecting a necklace after our conversation and I accepted it. He later decided to buy the necklace for me which I declined. He choose a gold and well designed necklace for me. He also choose earring for me. He decided to assist me in wearing the necklace in which I accepted. We later drew apart and I headed to the cashier to pay my bills. On my arrival, the told me that the money on my credit card has finished. I was so surprised.Angie decided to use hers to pay for me but the money wasn't enough. Unluckily for me Sabina was at the scene. She embarrassed me so much. I felt like crying but Stephen came there and paid it with his credit card. I thanked him for saving me from embarrassment and he asked me to be his date for the prom night . I didn't gave him an answer and left there. I asked Angie to go since I had something to buy. My car tyre deflated all of a sudden. I became stressed out since I wasn't having any money to board a car to campus. Josh came there and boarded a taxi for both of us in which he paid the fare. He later asked me to be his date for the prom after I thanked him.
