The blade was grabbed hold and was thrown aside before she could press harder.
Spencer's hand dripped with blood.
But he could care less about it.
All his attention was on Preshea.
But Preshea's eyes were on his hand.
"What are you doing?!?"
She grabbed his hand but Spencer pulled away.
"Just answer the question," Spencer seriously said.
"Is this really what you want? Is this the end that you really want?"
Her lips trembled.
"Just as we all have accepted you, didn't you accept us already as part of your life?"
"Don't twist it. Luna was right, it was just repayment."
"Is it only just repayment?" Spencer pressed.
"It is."
Preshea's reply was much weaker than when she was saying it to Luna.
"Is it?" Spencer repeated.
"..."
Hearing those same questions from Spencer, she could no longer bring herself to say it again.
In the end, under his gaze, she broke into tears.
