A soft thud echoed.

With Adam's motion, a figure flew out sideways.

Her face was incredibly pale and ghastly, with scars crisscrossed across it, making her look horrifying, like a corpse.

Overall, she looked terrifying, enough to give anyone nightmares.

Adam stood rooted to the spot, unfazed.

But in the next moment, the woman let out a piercing scream.
