Hazel was surprised that Cyan believed her so easily, she had prepared a long speech and squeezed her brains out over how to convince her about giving her the bracelet, because from what Micah said the bracelet was almost like an heirloom to them, it was not something that you would give away to random people.

It was still a surprise that Cyan gave Hazel the bracelet in the first place.
