"Father," Lumielle said her words somewhat difficult to expiate off of her chest, "I wish to be engaged to Sir Allard."

"As you wish," The Emperor answered back nonchalantly as he looked over papers. His own daughter wanted to get married and he had no reaction. He didn't even show concern for her as Lumielle bit her lip. Why did Cosette end up gaining his favor and she did not? It was a shame that Lumielle had been so desperately searching for love. She had been neglected by her father and hoped that she would be able to find it in Allard.

It would be a complete failure.

i want to keep some mystery of the past so i won't be revealing all of it. i was actually debating on writing WAY more but decided to keep things a lil mysterious and not show some moments i have planned in the future. anyways, i hope you guys enjoyed. i actually sliced my hand open while working so i'll have to rest for a bit when it comes to writing :(
