Lumielle had become a murderer with her father's grave being the first time she stained her hands red. She hadn't killed someone directly and yet, she had slaughtered him. Now, she looked at Eldrige with nothing. She felt no affection towards him. He had abandoned them, left to suffer. He had gotten a fitting ending, she only wished for him to suffer a bit more.
hi hi! i recently got some criticism that honestly made me rethink the first half of the novel. i honestly do have some issues with the first half of the novel, especially in the beginning. maybe i wasn’t as clear as i wanted to be! i know i just took an editing break, but i might be taking another break to REALLY look at the start of the book so i can apply their criticism! i hope you guys can understand xoxo
