Chương 57: Chapter 58: Arrival and Information Gathering
Alexander searched through countless universes in order to find his next target world. It took Alexander three months to find his target world. After finding that multiverse, Alexander searched for the world that was in it's most suitable time period. Alexander opened the portal and entered the gate.
Alexander arrived at a deserted dark alley and quickly covered himself with all the concealment charms that he knew. Alexander left the alley and arrived at a futuristic city covered in some sort of green dome. It was night time and Alexander could sense some sort of energy in the air. Alexander could see flying cars and other such vehicles moving at high up in the air. Alexander thought, " Seeing a fictional world in movies and standing in it are two completely different things. The Mummy World and The Harry Potter world were fantasy but this is on a whole new scale. The world of Star Wars is a very diverse world with plenty of hidden dangers. I will have so much fun here. This world is much bigger than shown in movies or comics. But, first I will have to acquire information about the current galactic situation."
Alexander had only chosen the general time and region of his entry. He had not chosen the core or inner regions for his appearance. Alexander was not going to foolishly appear in any one of the core worlds or the inner worlds as these places have a solid identification system and an unidentified human male showing up on the planet with no recording of any apparent arrival would either send him to jail or some people would try to enslave him which would later on led to the charges of manslaughter, public disturbance, damage to property and other nasty things. It was a foolish thinking that slavery did not exist in the central regions of Galaxy. One doesn't need a collar or chip to enslave someone. A little bit of legal mumbo jumbo and anyone can have slaves without technically having slaves in this rotten Galaxy. The Galaxy also had a flourishing slaving trade, organ trade, illegal pleasure centers and other such nasty stuff. The only difference is that in the outer rim, such things happen in the open while in the interior regions of the galaxy, it happens behind close doors and under the eyes of whatever law that existed here.
The star wars universe was not a nice place to live if you don't have enough money and even if you are rich, you don't know when some madman decides to blow up your planet. Plenty of homeless people vanish every moment in the galaxy never to be found again. Under the apparent civilized interior regions of the galaxy, hides a underworld which is more rotten than the crime lords of the outer rims. Ever given this a thought, if Jabba The Hutt was the most feared crime lord of the galaxy then why did he remained in the Hutt Space? Why he did not try to extend his reach beyond it? Jabba knows that he is not the top dog of the underworld. Many hidden organizations like the Black Sun, Bounty Hunter Association, Smugglers Guild, Slavers Union, etc. ruled the underworld with an iron fist.
Alexander thought, " When this world is conquered, billions of people will die under my orders due to the crimes committed by them. As it is night time, the criminal underbelly should have activated, this seems to be a pretty deserted region, let's move on to some populated areas to attract some unsavory people. A simple compulsion charm should work." Alexander moved through the deserted streets and arrived at a small market. The market was filthy and filled with dirty and smelly beings who had different skin colours, body sizes and the chatter in the air was utterly foreign to Alexander. Alexander casted an invisible bubblehead charm to keep the pungent smells out and moved through the crowd. Alexander due to his compulsion charm gained some trails. Alexander led them through a chase and at last got himself cornered in a dead end. Alexander looked around and saw that there were no camera or drones or droids around and inwardly smiled in relief. Alexander turned his attention towards the being following him and was happy that there was one human among the trails. Alexander did not want to pear in the mind of an alien as he was not sure about what would happen. Alexander casted a mass stunning charm and they all dropped like flies.
Alexander came near the human and used the copy ability to copy all the knowledge this person had and also the ability to house midichlorians in the cells. Alexander was now able to use force but he didn't have any midichlorians in his cells right now as he had not allowed them to enter his cells yet. If Alexander had allowed them to enter then he would have shone like a supernova to every force sensitive in the galaxy and would have attracted endless troubles. Alexander then turned his attention towards his trails and decided that they have to be killed.
According to the information gained from the human, these people were a small time gang who stole from people and if there was nothing on their targets then they sold them to the slavers. They had each also killed many people during their career. Alexander disintegrated their bodies and shifted to their hideout. Alexander felt himself enter a weird dimension that made all his senses go haywire. Alexander was just able to get a glimpse of the dimension before he arrived at his destination. Alexander thought, " According to the information from that man, that dimension was the hyperspace. How can I enter hyperspace inside the gravity well of a planet as it is a sure way to kill yourself. Wait a minute!!! The principle behind shifting is to slip between the cracks present in space using magic and arrive at the targeted location. A Hyperdrive also works similar to this but as I don't know the principle behind the working of the hyperdrive , I can't be sure. I cannot shift anymore for a forseeable future as this small jump emptied my magical reserves by half. I should also limit the use of magic in presence of others."
Alexander then summoned all the credits they had on hand and counted upto only a few hundred. They also had a small starship with them for transportation. They had nicked it from some poor fellow. Alexander sat down on a crate and began to go over the information he had obtained from the human boy. This planet was named Daul and it was situated near the edge of the Mid Rim. It was a jungle planet with bio domes to house their cities. There was nothing of value here and the cities here were constructed in the era of galactic exploration and have been left as it is. It is one of the resting point for the criminals and there was nothing of value here. Nobody dared to explore this planet as the flora and fauna both reacted aggressively to intruders.
Alexander moved towards the dock where the starship was parked. It was an ugly thing and also seamed to be quite rusted at places. Alexander took out the data pad containing the access codes and opened the door. Alexander stepped inside and found that it was more filthy inside than outside. Alexander claimed it as a part of his kingdom and willed all the filth away. Alexander also repaired the ship to it's peak condition. Alexander heard a happy beep sound coming from behind him and saw a droid excitingly moving towards him. Since the droid was also a part of the ship, he was also a part of his kingdom now. Alexander had repaired him also. The droid was an unfamiliar one as he had not seen it in movies.
The droid was ball-shaped, like the one seen in the stars wars movies of Ren Skywalker but instead of orange markings, it had red markings and the body was silver in colour. The droid beeped at him but he was able to understand him. The droid was very thankful to him for repairing him. The droid was also now a subject of his kingdom, apparently, the laws of the king's bloodline deemed all the beings which are capable of some sort independent thinking or have a thought process of human or above level, eligible for being his subjects.
Alexander, " Little Fellow!!! Tell me about yourself and this ship."
Droid, " Master!!! I am AR - 113509, an astromech droid fo this ship. I was attached to this ship since it's manufacturing. This ship is a small transporter capable of supporting 5 people. It's hyperdrive is class 5. It's pretty obselete previously but now is capable of making small jumps. It's 110 meters long and 55 metres wide. This ship is fully stocked. It has two laser guns and a low end shield. This ship would not stand a chance against most pirate ships but is capable of making escape if the pilot is good. This ship has not been updated since it's manufacturing. It's firewalls, communications systems, operational systems, navigation systems and targeting systems are not good enough for Master's station. I recommend that Master should get a ship worthy of his station."
Alexander smiled at the little fellow and said, " I just need to get out of this planet. I want you take me to the nearest life supporting planet which does not have any living being on it. Can you do this?" The droid nodded and moved towards the terminal of the ship. He pressed some buttons and a star map appeared as a hologram. The droid highlighted some planets and turned towards Alexander and said, " Master!! These planets are the ones that fit your criteria. I recommend Planet M - 4507 as it is near a minor hyperlane." Alexander just nodded and ordered the droid to set course to that planet.
The ship rumbled and lifted off the landing pad. It took five minutes to get clear with the authorities as there was no prior notice of this ship taking off. All the ships had to take permission before leaving. It was only the ships that had important persons that could leave whenever they want. Their identification numbers are also unique like Jedi had J in starting of their identification code. At last, the ship cleared the atmosphere and Alexander turned to look at the planet below. It was a beautiful green planet with some cities within green domes littering the surface. To Alexander, it looked like a giant green sea which had massive green bubbles floating on its surface. The droid called out, " Master!! We are ready for jump."
Alexander nodded and watched as the black space was replaced with silvery white expanse which then bled into a while lines. Alexander, for a few seconds, admired the scenery and then moved towards the holonet as there were many things to research.
