The crowd already awestruckd by Morgan and Aerith were ready to leave. This must have eaten up Elkwood's luck for the next 500 years! The most luck that a citizen from Elkwood had was 300 years ago, a triple element youth, who grew up to become a great military figure and helped the Ravenhart kingdom repel many of its enemies during that time. The great general Elkwood, who's statue sits behind the stage looking across the crowd.
The chances to obtain an element was already extremely rare with a one out of a thousand chance. In a population of ten thousand, one can expect of those ten thousand, ten will be able to call out an element. Even rarer for multiple elements and a trait. Those with multiple elements or traits for the most part become someone notable within the history books.
Eden closed his eyes while his hands were on the crystal.
In that moment, he could see orbs of color appear forming a line. Red, blue, green, yellow, black, grey, white Slowly the colors begin to fade away... red... blue... green... black... grey.
The yellow and white light remained. Earth and Light. An image begans to form at the center of the yellow orb, a leaf. At the same time. on the white orb, an image of a crescent moon formed at its core.
"Duh duh Duh Dual elements! Earth and Light!" Ezel was shocked, what dumb luck Elkwood has "The unique trait of plants! The other I have never seen before! Let me think... light... moon.... Muh muh muh Moonlight!"
Ezel couldn't wait to be done with this testing and transmit this information to the academies. There will be indeed a crazy bidding war for these youths. The job of transporting the Sage Orb is incredibly risky, but controlling who gets what information is a perk of the job. Ezel could command a high payment to simply release information a tad earlier to a academy. Many academies pay Ezel an astronomical amount to release information to them first so that they can send messengers earlier. Ironically all the academies have done this to the point where there is a deadlock and Ezel get paid a large sum of gold by all the academies to release information at the sametime to all of them. Imagining the havoc that may occur during this bidding war, Ezel couldn't help but smile.
An already dumbfounded crowd was not ready for this third shock of the day! Dual elements, two unique traits! And one of them that hasn't been seen before?! Surely the Gods smiled upon Elkwood today.
'What no fire element?.' thought Eden. If anyone knew Eden's thoughts at the time, they would be coughing up blood. 'I guess i'll just have to make due with this... hu...hu.." He sighed with relief on the inside. He didn't want to be like those characters from novels that acted cocky in the beginning and ended up having nothing to show for it.
Eden walked over and grinned at Morgan and Aerith who were standing by their parents. Shocked looks on their face.
"Eden! You have a bright future ahead of you" Morgan said. Aerith agreed.
"I knew I was destined for greatness my friends. Today starts your legendary journey! Morgan master of Ice and Shadows! Aerith of the Four elements! I.... um.. I'm not sure haha, I don't know anything about my powers."
The two laughed with him.
The rest of testing concluded without a hitch with 2 others being able to call an element. August, one of the larger examinees. The boy had red hair and had rough look. August is the son of town blacksmith and was able to call upon the fire elements.
Violet, a girl with green hair and purple eyes was able to obtain the earth element and the unique leaf trait like Eden. This has been an unprecedented amount of luck that Elkwood town has received.

"Such talent this generation of youth from Elkwood have" said Ezel.
"Although talent gives you guys a great starting point, it does not mean you will all be great. Hardwork is still required. You have about a two months to select a school of choice. Don't worry in the next week or so many academies will reach out to you. Going to the biggest school isn't always the best, you need to find a academy that suits your needs."
The Prontera Academy was the largest academy of the kingdom. Located in the capital, it attracted many Fire element users due to the influence of the King. The Viridian Academy was the second largest academy, located in the northwest part of the kingdom. The other large academies being the Thauvin Academy and Tempest Academy. Aerith's grandfather was the headmaster of Tempest Academy. The large academies were known for acquiring top end youths due to their large amount of wealth.
Besides the large academies, there were several smaller academies that existed across the kingdom. What sets them apart is that they had less resources than the larger academies. They simply had no chance in the face of wealth. However they did provide more up-front and closeness to its students.
"While you use the time to talk to school messengers and representatives, here is a meditation manual. Please read this and perform this everyday. Your academies will be able to tell immediately if you have done these exercises or not. You all who recently acquired elements need to breakthrough the first stage, the Acquisition Stage, and reach the Elemental Sight Stage before you start your first day at whichever academy you choose." explained Ezel.
The first stage consisted of acquiring more elements and storing them as mana, hence the name Acquisition. The second stage in the process would be the Application stage, being able to use the gathered elemental power. The third stage would be the Elemental Sight Stage. At this point, a person is able to see the presence of their elements. At the Elemental Sight Stage the user would have completed what magic users call the Entry Level. After the Entry Level was a whole other leveling system for magic users.
"It should not take much if you do these meditation exercise for a month. Meditation is the foundation for growth for those are able to call upon the elements. With Meditation you are able to increase the size of your mana pool. Going through subsequent breakthroughs will enable you to cast more powerful spells. Meditation is your foundation, don't build your castle on sand!"
Ezel gave a meditation manual to the 5 youths who were able to call upon an element.

"Who knew that my son would be so talented!" exclaimed Carolyn. "Being able to use earth and light magic! Being able to use plant and moonlight magic! Wow!"
"Its because my mom is so beautiful that the Goddess of Luck smiled upon me when I was testing" grinned Eden.
"You...Eden...you... when you grow up... you will sure have your pick of the ladies. Make sure to bring home a sweet girl for mama when you do! Make sure she's a light element also!"

An old man sitting at his desk can be seen picking up a sky blue colored gem. With a tap, the gem began to display a recording of the examinations of Elkwood. The old man stopped the recording after the testing of a young boy who displayed a leaf and a moon within the orb.
"Hu... Hu... interesting. Ezel, you found a unique one, I think I'll need to make my way to Elkwood as soon as possible."
