Chương 53: Tears of anger and frustration

Patel, who was scared, Turned to look at Lana who was standing in front of her.

"What's wrong what? What happened?" Lana asked, cupping the frightening girl's face.

Patel came out of her dizzy when she felt Lana's hands touching her face, She looked at her and shocked, assuring that she is fine.

"I will go to my room." Patel signaled and push herself off the wall and walked towards the stairs.

Lana frowned. She was positive that something happened that made her scared like this because she saw Ethan walking out of the mansion. He must have done something.

Upstairs, Once Patel reached her room she locked the door behind her out of fear, Taking off her shoes, She climbed the bed and went under the covers not bothered to change her dress.

Next time, She will let Noah walk her to her room so he won't get the chance to scare her like he just did.

"Let's continue this interesting conversation another time."

Patel's body shivered remembering his voice. She had thought that he forgot about her and would stop bothering her, But she was wrong and it seemed that he would never stop.

She fell asleep as she was thinking about what happened earlier. He had ruined her night. She was happy and in a good mood.

She wondered if this will continue and he will always take the chance to bully her.

"Good morning, Lady Lana." The maid welcomed Lana.

Looking around the house she didn't see her son.

"Is Ethan awake?" Lana asked the maid.

"Mr. Ethan, Had left early in the morning." The maid replied.

Lana dismissed the maid as she took out her phone and called Ethan but he didn't reply. She knew that he was avoiding her intentionally.

"That brat." Lana muttered under her breath as she left the house.

She was about to go back to mansion when she received a phone call from the hospital asking her to come as she is the manager of the hospital.

Patel was taking a walk in the garden and watching the sunset. She sighed as she looked up at the sky looking at the sunset. She used to watch it with her mother.

Patel never knew any kind of love except her mother love, It was pure and unconditional, She loved her despite the incomplete being she is, The only reason she was born into this world is to be the successor of her father, But she failed him twice, Once when she was born a female and the second is being born disabled.

In the past, Patel had thought about ending her life many times, But she was scared that she would cause her mother sadness and loneliness and she wasn't that brave to do that.

Sometimes she feels that she is a weak and pathetic person. She can't defend herself. Like yesterday, She stood there motionless, unable to do anything to defend herself against that man.

Closing her eyes, She let the tears of anger and frustration slide down from her eyes. She felt more pathetic now that she was crying.
