"Kiema says to tell you there's something wrong with the Gateway. It's not as solid as it was before. Although she didn't really sound firm on the word solid.' I think she's trying to guess at what's wrong," I relayed to the rest of the group.
"What does it look like?" Kord asked.
"Well, before it was totally and completely black. I have no idea how Kiema even knows where she's going, but the tunnel, for lack of a better word, looks like it's been hit by a porcupine. There are so many holes in the thing that it looks more like the night sky," I answered.
"So there's light, but it doesn't illuminate anything," Kord clarified.
I nodded my physical head.
"Does it feel different to you, Xander?" Scarlet asked. "Like emotionally different?"
I nodded again. "But Kiema and I think it feels broken somehow. Almost like it's sad or something."
"Can you personally feel the difference in the magic?" Scarlet asked.
