In the world of the Invincibles, Rex finds himself as a regular human, However, he soon realizes he was more than just human, he was the product of a secretive experiment he was never meant to survive. In the Invincibles universe he almost despairs, recognizing his not so ordinary background was not enough.

Soon, Rex finds his intellect reaching unprecedented levels and discovers a mysterious tome: The Book of Magic along with his newly unlocked heritage.
