"What??" Xi and secretary Kim shouted simultaneously but Kendall didn't care about them as she waited for the man to say something.

She looked calm and confident on the outside but on the inside she was dead nervous.

Everyone present in the board room tried as much as possible to make them selves less visible as they watch their boss who seem to be on the phone.

He was oddly quiet and the project presenter began to sweat profusely.

What if he wasn't satisfied with the presentation?

Xavier felt like he was on cloud nine and didn't even respond for sometime.

"Hey are you there?" She broke him outta his thoughts and he stood up immediately.

"I'll be there shortly." He answered and ended the call.

He left the meeting in a hurry as he hung his suit jacket on his shoulder and walked towards the elevator.

"Yes!" He punched at nothing and began fixing his hair with his fingers.

He'd to look his best for his wife to be.
