The candy had fallen to the ground.

Lola Hussey was taken aback for a moment.

She raised her head and looked at Sophia Taylor's showy expression.

A phrase slowly bubbled up in Lola's mind: Some people just won't let things be!

Before her amnesia, had she offended everyone in the entertainment industry? Otherwise, why did everybody seem to dislike her and target her?

"Lola Hussey, I didn't do it on purpose, you know. You won't be mad, right? It's just a piece of candy..."

Sophia Taylor's apology had a hint of politeness, but it was mostly perfunctory!

Lola only shook her head: "No."

She then bent down, picked up the candy, placed it on the vanity table, and took another piece for Sophia Taylor: "If you want candy, you can just tell me."

Out of politeness, she didn't give the picked-up candy to Sophia Taylor.
