When Lola Hussey woke up, her head ached severely. She murmured in pain, holding her throbbing head. It took a while to ease, and she no longer felt as much pain as before.
She was sweating somewhat, feeling sticky all over.
Perhaps, right now, she was in a pitch-black room, lying on a bed. The surrounding area was dry, and at the very least, it was not damp.
She rolled over once, then again, finally sitting up and surveyed the darkness around her.
They say when a person hits a patch of bad luck, even drinking cold water leads to choking.
Who on earth had she offended? As if a car accident wasn't enough, now she was kidnapped!
"Hello, is anybody there?"
"Can anyone respond, is there anyone?"
"Hello?"
Lola Hussey shouted several times.
However, there was no response.
