Seeing Vania Crawford's concerned query, Lola Hussey hesitated for a moment, looking at the somewhat unfamiliar face before nodding: "Yes."
She had been in Manor Island.
"You, oh you."
Vania playfully tapped Lola's forehead, chiding her like an older sister, "You suddenly disappeared to Manor Island. Couldn't you have given me a heads up? I had to make up so many lies when people asked about you. I almost couldn't keep up with them."
Lola couldn't reveal her amnesia just yet - she didn't really know Vania well enough yet.
So she pretended to remember everything. "I left in such a hurry, I didn't have time to tell you."
Vania nodded in understanding.
