Nanny suggested, "How about frying a steak? It's simple, quick, and easy."
Lola Hussey shook her head, "I'm afraid if my grandma eats the steak I fry, she might lose her dentures."
Nanny chuckled.
She couldn't stop laughing with shoulders shaking.
Finally, under Nanny's suggestion, Lola Hussey made steamed fish from the Mississippi.
Simple and easy.
The fish just needed to have the fishy smell removed and be steamed well with controlled heat. The main taste of the dish came from the freshness of the fish and the seasonings poured over it.
The seasonings were made according to Nanny's ratio, which was not a big problem for Lola. After it was ready, Nanny tasted it and said it was fine, then poured the mixed seasoning over the steamed fish.
Lola Hussey served the fish along with a bowl of porridge.
She also prepared chopsticks and knife and fork, placing them on the table.
Wendy Hollander sat down and said with her head up, "That was quick."
