Chương 252: Descending

Since the caves had collapsed in many places, William and Carl's descent was greatly slowed the deeper that they went.

Their rate of movement was slowed even further when William's Illusionist's Cloak detected multiple Cultivators tunneling through the cave behind them. It wouldn't be long before the other thieves caught up.

William was forced to set traps to deal with the pursuers, consisting mostly of the Ice and Time Elements to slow them down as much as possible. While this was mostly effective, it would only stop the weak ones. The Nascent Soul and Golden Core thieves, however, needed but a few minutes to break through.

William took the initiative to kill whatever thieves they came across, not worried about the ever-diminishing Humanity Points when achieving a sneak-attack.

A few announcements below! Read until the end!

Just posting this chapter now since it'll be a bit longer before I finish editing the second one. I won't be going to bed until it's done though.

Also, tomorrow I will be posting four chapters as usual per each Sunday. You guys are so awesome that we've met the weekly Power Stone goal every week since the start of the New Year. That's amazing!

After this month, I hope to set up an established release schedule so that you aren't surprised every time I post something, lol.

No promises on the schedule though, yet. I will always post, but I'm terrible about being on time! I will work on this!

Some of my most diligent readers may already know this, but I am currently working on putting together a Discord Server for Infinite Potential System. This will probably take a few weeks since I don't really know what I'm doing, but it is up and coming.

An even bigger announcement, though, is that a month ago I commissioned an artist to create a new cover. I'm not sure how long this will take, but I would count on seeing it by the end of next month.

And of course, the novel I announced before has finished it's first outlining phase, and I am going through the first set of edits on tuesday.
