Chương 16: Chapter 15
{Akatsuki POV}
It's hot. Today is July 8, 20##. I am currently in my parents's house.
Even though I am a college student I live off of my parents.
How pathetic. It has been a year since I graduated from high school.
But that stigma of being a rapist didn't go away. My family totally scorns me. My sister hates me.
My classmates hate me. The society rejected me. I didn't even protest. Never tried to prove my innocence.
So I too am at fault. But I don't resent anyone. Not even that girl who tried to frame me.
"I should get out of here?" I told myself. Though I am not sure but I have to take the first step.
I'll need some money to move out. So I started working part time.
But I always did work part time. So by this point I have saved up a decent amount of money.
"Maybe I should move out. I have money too. Then, I will ask dad."
I made up my mind. It's July and in August the summer vacation starts.
I'll have plenty of time. Besides if I move out, I could have some privacy.
So let's go out and maybe take a walk around the neighborhood.
It has been a while since I took a walk.
I started walking and got out of my room first.
My room is on the second floor. And beside me is my sister's room.
"Oh…" I saw Mizuki coming out too.
"Nice day ain't it?" I casually said to her.
But she made a fcae life she saw a sea cucumber crawling and spewing it's guts out. Like I was, I lost the word to describe it.
She just so hated me.
"Don't talk to ever again." She said in a low tone but extremely angrily.
I am a peaceful guy. So I just took her word for it and left.
Mizuki, my younger talented sister. She is just perfect. Good grades, looks and athletic body to boot.
Just the perfect superhuman and complete opposite of me.
But I take great pride in her. She is my little sister. So cute that I can not turn her down.
When she was little, she used to say,
"I'll marry big brother when I grow up."
Ahhh. Those were the days. But when she hit puberty, she started distancing herself from me.
She stopped talking to me and treated me like a stranger.
Even so, if she asks me anything, I'll do it for her.
Of course, as long as it's in my power to do so.
"Where should I go?" I am currently standing outside my house and thinking which way to go.
Maybe I'll go to the park. It has been a while.
I walked to the park. It is empty. No one is here at the moment.
"Lucky!" I said to myself.
I sit down on a bench and look up to the sky.
"So peaceful." This thought is on my mind but that soon turned sour because a single unwanted person came.
"Hello." I said to the girl who just came.
"....." She stayed quiet. Didn't even answer me back.
She is Momoko. A girl who is the same age as me. Also the one who framed me.
I am a tolerant and peaceful guy. So I just wanna stay friends with her. But she openly expresses her disgust for me.
Even though I did not do anything.
While I was thinking, I didn't notice but she took seat on the same bench as me.
That was uncalled for. She sat beside me despite everything.
She is thinking something. So I decided to stay quiet..
We just sat there for a while. But then I saw Mizuki going somewhere.
She looked at the park and our eyes met. More than that she was stunned.
Then I realized. That Momoko is sitting beside me.
She just started at me and Momoko and then left.
"I am so dead." I said out loud.
Momoko also looked at me angrily and left.
"What the hell is happening?" I didn't understand why she left.
It is getting late too. Maybe I should go back.
"I have to search for a room too. I would prefer an 1 LDK." I thought and was going back home.
I ran into Mizuki again. She also returned and we were going in at the same time.
I would ask dad after I've found a room. That's what I decided.
