Chương 22: Perfect Compatibility

Kamille looked surprised, but he did not push Rise or move away. It was unknown if it was because he was not his rational self or that he did not dislike what Rise was doing. Perhaps, it was the combination of both.

They were so close that, as their skins touched, Rise could even embrace Kamille if he wanted to. 

He did not do that. He was still looking up; his right hand was on Kamille's left cheek, while his left had slid down and wrapped around the other's nape. 

In this position, it was almost like they were embracing each other, or more like it was Rise embracing Kamille. 

Rise stared at those cold yet mesmerizing crimson eyes. He actually seen it countless times; he had also been stared at by the same pair of pupils, and yet, each time, Rise felt he was being pulled into the other's world. 

And each time, Rise did not resist.
