Yes, this person is Alex or now known as Kazuha. Alex was just a normal guy in highschool, above average in studies, above average in athletics, above average in looks. A typical side character. One day, he was having sex with his girl and died while being choked.
When he woke up, he found himself in the body of Kazuha. Kazuha is an orphan who was found by wandering konoha shinobi and was sent to an orphanage.

" Where am I? " Kazuha whispers. Suddenly, he feels an intense headache and memories of the OG Kazuha as well system information enter his brain.
The system he has is called the pokemon system. It's purpose is to help Kazuha survive. The system uses it's means to find pokemon hidden in a radius of 10 km.These pokemon are visible only to Kazuha.It works similar to the game ' Pokemon Go' that he used to play in his previous life. The system scans and finds pokemon and Kazuha has to capture the pokemon. He can transfer the pokemon in exchange of candies which help the pokemon to power up and evolve.
He gets 10 E.P for catching stage 1 pokemon, 50 E.P for catching 2nd stage pokemon and 100 E.P for catching final stage pokemon.The points he gets for capturing mythical and legendaries vary from 1000- 10,000.
EP can be used to learn moves from pokemon for his own use. The stronger the move, the more points it will take to learn it.
Famous public places like the hokage building and ichuraku ramen will be treated as pokestop where he can get pokeballs and other items.
Author Note : He will treat most captured pokemon as resources and transfer them in exchange of candies.
