Chương 28: Powerful Grandpa

The tranquil hum of the top-floor garden was a welcome respite from the chaos brewing outside. Ritsuka, Archetype: Earth, and Karen were busy tending to their plants, each lost in their own rhythm. Ritsuka was kneeling beside a newly planted sapling, feeling the soil crumble between his fingers.

"Princess, take the water," Ritsuka instructed Archetype: Earth, who was carefully handling another pot.

"Daddy, I planted this plant!" Karen said proudly, showing off her small, muddy hands.

"Wow, great work, good girl," Ritsuka praised, ruffling her hair affectionately.

Archetype: Earth, despite her vast powers, enjoyed these simple moments of shared labor. The act of planting and nurturing life together brought her a sense of satisfaction and connection that transcended her abilities.

"Enjoying your dad duties, huh?" Nick Fury's voice cut through the calm, his commanding presence starkly contrasting with the serene setting. Nick came through the portal Ritsuka created.

Ritsuka stood up and brushed the dirt off his hands, meeting Fury's gaze. "Yes. Everything's going well."

Fury shrugged, his usual stoic demeanor tinged with frustration. "Tony's latest stunt has caused quite a bit of chaos. The whole operation's in disarray. Hydra's scrambling to cover their tracks. It's a mess."

Ritsuka nodded, his expression resolute. "Tony's move was effective. Hydra's on the defensive, but that's our opportunity. We need to act now to stop them for good. I'm tired of their games."

Fury's expression was grim. "I suppose that makes sense, but how the f—" He stopped abruptly, his gaze shifting to Karen, who was still focused on her plants. "How the motherfudgering fudge are we supposed to deal with them inside of SHIELD?"

Ritsuka sighed. "Follow me."

Ritsuka turned to Karen and Archetype: Earth. "I'm heading out to work now," he said, addressing both of them. "Princess, take care of Karen for me."

Arc smiled gently. "We'll be waiting," she replied, her voice as soothing as ever.

Karen, her excitement palpable, bounded up to her father. "I have a magic class with Mother soon! She said she will train me in magic and to control my powers." She gave Ritsuka a quick kiss on the cheek. "Bye, Daddy!"

she called out, then turned to Nick Fury. "Bye, Uncle Pirate!"

Fury raised an eyebrow at the nickname but managed a small smile. "Yeah, see you around, kid."

After Ritsuka said his goodbyes, he headed to his penthouse apartment. Nick Fury followed, clearly in a bad mood, his frustration evident.

As they entered the penthouse, Nick started rummaging through the fridge. "I'm in my 60s with no bitches," Fury grumbled. "And you? You're managing a sorceress and a princess. You're a tough guy to keep all of them in line."

Ritsuka raised an eyebrow. "Thanks , I'm lucky to meet amazing people. And There's no beer in here. This isn't a beer shop; it's going to be my future bakery."

Fury frowned, pulling out a soda can. "Future bakery? You're serious?"

Ritsuka nodded. "Yeah, just planning ahead for a more normal life. I'm planning to invite you. Saturday is opening day."

Fury shook his head in disbelief, but took the soda with a grunt. "Fine. I'll settle for this. I will try to attend if everything is goes fine. But damn, Tony's big reveal about Hydra has left a mess everywhere. The world's in chaos, and now I'm stuck trying to deal with it."

Ritsuka strode to the center of the penthouse, his determination evident in his movements. The room was tense with anticipation. "Fury, I have a plan to finish Hydra and their last leader," he declared, his voice resolute.

He extended his hand and began to draw upon his command spells, one of which had recently recovered. Ritsuka took a deep breath and began chanting the ritual words.

"By the power vested in me, I summon thee, Gramps..."

Nick Fury watched with a look of incredulity. "What the hell is he mumbling about now?" Fury muttered under his breath, trying to make sense of the bizarre scene unfolding before him.

With a burst of magical energy, King Hassan appeared in the room, his presence both formidable and foreboding. The air seemed to grow colder as the Grim Reaper materialized.

Fury's eyes widened as he took in the sight of the legendary Assassin. "You called this guy to handle the cleanup? Hell, I was expecting a hitman, not the Grim Reaper himself. Well, if it scares the crap out of those Hydra rats, I'm not complaining. Just… keep him pointed at the right targets, okay?"

King Hassan's gaze was steady and unflinching. "Thou hast summoned me. Speak thy command, and I shall fulfill it."

The presence of King Hassan was immediately detected by Void Shiki, Archetype Earth, and Ereshkigal, who were engaged in their own tasks. Each of them paused, sensing the profound and unsettling aura of the Assassin.

Fury, still grappling with the situation, turned to Ritsuka. "Alright, I've seen some strange things, but this takes the cake. What exactly is this guy? And what's your deal?"

Ritsuka sighed, knowing he needed to clarify. "I'll tell you the truth, but I won't give you every detail. King Hassan is one of the most powerful Assassins from my world. I have the ability to summon figures from human history to aid in protecting the world. I've done this before in my own world. I was summoned here by Gaia. I'm not originally from this world, but from a different one."

Fury's brow furrowed. "Gaia? And what the hell do you mean, different world?"

Ritsuka nodded, understanding the confusion. "Gaia is the embodiment of the Earth in this world, a powerful entity that manages and influences the planet. When I say 'different world,' I'm referring to parallel worlds that exist alongside this one. My world is separate."

Fury processed the information, his expression a mix of skepticism and dawning comprehension. "So you're telling me parallel worlds are real, and that Earth has faced threats like what you've described?"

"Yes," Ritsuka affirmed. "The threats we faced were world-ending. They were the worst nightmares you can imagine."

Fury's mind raced with the implications. "How bad are these threats?"

"Fucking worst nightmare for you," Ritsuka replied bluntly.

Fury's face hardened as he absorbed the gravity of the situation. He started connecting the dots, realizing that this world might be facing a similar scale of threat. "Motherfuckers," he muttered, the weight of the revelation settling heavily on his shoulders.

King Hassan remained silent, his eerie presence a stark reminder of the dire circumstances ahead.

Fury rubbed his temple, feeling the weight of Ritsuka's explanation sinking in. He still had questions, though. One nagging thought hit him like a truck. "Wait a damn second…" Fury looked at Ritsuka, then his gaze narrowed as he remembered a few names. "Morgan… Morgan le Fay, right?"

Ritsuka hesitated for a brief moment but then nodded. "Yeah, but before you jump to any conclusions, she's not the same as the one in your world's legends. Her history is different, and I can assure you, you don't have to worry about any betrayal or dark magic schemes."

Fury's eyes widened at first, then narrowed in suspicion. "Morgan le Fay… *the* Morgan le Fay? You know she's supposed to be some evil sorceress who tried to destroy Camelot, right? A real piece of work from the history books."

Ritsuka chuckled softly. "I'm aware of the reputation she has here of this world. But my Morgan is different. She's… well, she's my wife, and the mother of our child."

That made Fury pause. His gaze flickered between disbelief and something akin to relief. "Wait, I remembered now, you've got a kid with her, right? So, she's not like a typical world-ending villain then? Well, hell, at least that's good news. As long as she's not following the Morgana path of our world's history, we're probably fine."

Ofcourse, he lied and wanted to keep a eye on them. Even Ritsuka understood very much about him.

Ritsuka smiled faintly. "Exactly. She's nothing like that."

"You are a good husband! You know. To stand up and support Morgan."

"Well I'm doing my duty as her husband. And I know she will do same but more agressive way"

Fury folded his arms, still piecing things together in his head. "Alright, that's one puzzle piece down. Now, what about Da Vinci? The *Da Vinci*?"

Ritsuka braced himself for the reaction. "Yeah. She's Da Vinci. But, well… she's also *different*."

Fury raised an eyebrow. "Different how?"

Before Ritsuka could explain further, Fury waved his hand, interrupting. "Hold up. Let me guess. She looks like the Mona Lisa, right?"

Ritsuka chuckled, nodding. "Right, she does."

Fury blinked, disbelief clear on his face. "Wait a damn minute. So, *Leonardo Da Vinci*—*the guy*—decided to show up in this world, looking like one of the most famous paintings of all time? And not just that, but like a younger, female version of it?"

Ritsuka was amazed at how fast he understood everything.

Ritsuka smiled. "Yeah, pretty much. It's complicated, but in her words, 'Why not have a body that reflects the greatest work I ever created?'"

Fury shook his head, leaning back with a heavy sigh. "Man, I've heard some weird things, but this one's up there. And he turned into a little girl, right?"

Ritsuka nodded again. "Yup, and trust me, she's still the same Da Vinci in both forms. Just as brilliant, and just as—"

"—eccentric?" Fury finished for him, the corners of his mouth twitching as if he couldn't help but be amused by it all. "Well, considering who you've got backing you, I'm starting to see why you can handle all this Hydra stuff. You're walking around with the Grim Reaper, a sorceress, and Leonardo Da Vinci, who's apparently got a flair for the dramatic."

Ritsuka smirked. "Pretty much."

Fury paused, staring at Ritsuka with a more serious expression now. "But listen, Ritsuka… you've got a lot of power and strange allies here. It's one thing to deal with Hydra, but you better be sure you're on the right side of things. This world's already seen its fair share of chaos. Maybe not much like your worlds."

Ritsuka met his gaze, unwavering. "I'm on the side of humanity, Nick. Always have been."

Fury nodded slowly. "Alright. Just make sure Morgan and Da Vinci are too. You know how history has a tendency to repeat itself." He gave one last glance at King Hassan, his voice lowering. "And keep your Grim Reaper aimed at the right targets."

Ritsuka stood in the center of the room with Fury and king Hassan by his side. His expression hardened as he spoke with unwavering resolve, "Let's finish this Hydra mess for good."

Turning slightly, he addressed King Hassan with respect. "Grandpa, you can stay in my shadow for now." With that, the imposing figure of the Grim Reaper melted into the darkness beneath Ritsuka's feet, his presence still palpable but hidden.

Fury raised an eyebrow, watching the shadow darken and then vanish, shaking his head. "That's something you don't see every day." Without wasting another moment, Ritsuka opened the portal, leading them directly to Tony's house to gather the rest of their team.

As they arrived, Yinsen greeted them with his usual calm demeanor. "Ritsuka," he said, giving a nod. "Tony and Da Vinci are in the lab. They're… researching something."

"What are they up to?" Ritsuka asked, sensing there was more going on than Yinsen was letting on.

Yinsen paused for a split second before replying. "They're working on a few things, but nothing that should concern you right now. They didn't want to worry you."

Ritsuka frowned slightly but nodded. "Alright, I trust them. But we'll need them soon. We are going to finish hydra today." he already guessed and he will talk with them later after this mess.

Bucky, who had been silent, glanced at Yinsen. "So, you both are going to finish Hydra once and for all?"

Ritsuka nodded. "That's the plan. I want you with us, Bucky. Your help is invaluable."

Bucky didn't hesitate. "I'm in. Whatever it takes to get rid of those bastards."

With Bucky now on board, the group moved swiftly to the SHIELD Helicarrier. Inside Nick office, the hum of activity surrounded them, agents moving in every direction, but all of that faded when Ritsuka stepped forward. He closed his eyes for a moment and called out, "Grandpa, you can come out now."

In an instant, the towering figure of King Hassan materialized in the middle of the carrier. His heavy presence caused an immediate chill to run through the room. Bucky, standing beside Ritsuka, tensed up, his breath hitching at the sight of the cloaked figure.

Bucky's voice was tight. "Is… is Death here to take me?"

King Hassan's hooded gaze turned toward him, his voice low and ancient as he spoke in the old ways. "*Thy time hath not yet come, soldier of sins. Thou hast more to do in this life. Thy death is distant still, and many more paths lie before thee.*"

Bucky swallowed hard, but there was a flicker of resolve in his eyes. "I'm ready, though. One day, I'll face the consequences of what I've done."

King Hassan studied him for a long moment, then gave the faintest nod of approval. "*Thou speakest with acceptance. Thy fate is set, but fear not. When thy time comes, thou shalt be met with honor.*"

Bucky exhaled slowly, the tension in his body easing slightly. "Thanks, I guess," he muttered.

Meanwhile, King Hassan's gaze swept across the SHIELD agents, and in that instant, he saw through their souls—their deaths, their allegiances. His presence darkened as he identified the Hydra spies hidden among them. Without a word, the Sword of Death appeared in his hand, and with one swift swing, the helicarrier filled with an icy chill.

The spies among them—men and women who had spent years infiltrating SHIELD—froze in place. One by one, they dropped, lifeless, their eyes wide in shock as they never even realized what had happened.

Fury glanced around, taking in the scene, his face impassive. "Well, that's one hell of a cleanup," he muttered before turning to the remaining agents. "Listen up, everyone! We just eliminated Hydra's spies. We're on high alert now, so stay sharp, and Hill, you're in command while I'm gone. Keep things locked down and handle any chaos that comes up."

Maria Hill gave a sharp nod, immediately stepping up to handle the situation. Meanwhile, Fury handed Bucky a set of weapons, his expression grim. "You're going to need these."

Bucky took them, giving a nod of understanding, but his eyes flickered to Ritsuka and King Hassan, his thoughts running wild. "So… you and him," Bucky motioned towards the imposing Grim Reaper figure, "you two have an actual… grandfather-grandson relationship?"

Ritsuka smirked lightly. "Yeah, something like that. It's complicated."

Bucky huffed in disbelief, shaking his head. "You keep surprising me, man."

Fury, never one to linger on emotional moments, cut in. "Alright, let's wrap this up. Where are these Hydra rats hiding?"

King Hassan's eyes glowed faintly as he raised his head. "*Thou cower in darkness, in the shadows of their last stronghold. Thy place of their gathering hath been revealed.*"

Ritsuka nodded, reading King Hassan's thoughts, and with a wave of his hand, a portal opened, shimmering with magic. "Let's end this."

Without another word, Ritsuka, Bucky, Fury, and King Hassan stepped through the portal, arriving directly in the heart of Hydra's last base. They materialized just as Alexander Pierce was addressing the remaining Hydra forces, his voice ringing out with false confidence.

Pierce stopped mid-sentence, his eyes widening in terror as he saw the figures stepping through the portal, Ritsuka leading the charge with the Grim Reaper at his side. He stammered, taking a step back, but it was too late.

Hydra's end had arrived.

Behind Ritsuka, Bucky and Fury moved in with their guns drawn, the room tense with the unmistakable atmosphere of an impending end. Ritsuka gave a final glance to his team before saying with cold determination, "Let's go." As soon as the words left his mouth, King Hassan disappeared into the shadows, silently slipping through the base, cutting down any Hydra forces that stood in his way.

The base was soon filled with the chaotic sound of battle. Mutants loyal to Hydra launched their attacks, but Ritsuka summoned the dark Phoenix power within him, his body crackling with an aura of destruction. He raised his hand, calling forth shadowy servants from the depths to meet the mutants head-on. The battle left scars across the base, with walls crumbling and debris scattered in the wake of the fierce combat. Bucky fought with cold precision, ensuring there would be no survivors, while Fury took down Hydra agents with his usual deadly efficiency.

As they reached the heart of the base after cleaning up, Fury cornered Alexander Pierce, pointing his gun directly at the man he had long despised. Pierce stood defiantly, despite knowing his fate was sealed. The tension between Fury, Bucky, and Pierce was palpable.

Bucky's voice was filled with rage as he stared Pierce down. "I'm free, Pierce. Free of everything you put me through."

Pierce gave him a weary look, a dark chuckle escaping his lips. "Free? You'll never be free, Barnes. Not really. You think killing me will change anything?"

Fury's expression was unreadable as he watched the exchange. He could see that Pierce was ready to die, his last hope extinguished. But Ritsuka wasn't ready to let Pierce die without understanding why.

Before Fury could pull the trigger, Ritsuka spoke up, his voice calm but demanding. "Why are you doing this, Pierce?"

Pierce sneered at him, clearly unimpressed with the young man. "You wouldn't understand, kid. You—"

But before he could finish, King Hassan materialized next to Ritsuka, his towering presence silencing Pierce instantly. The words died in Pierce's throat, his arrogance replaced by a flicker of fear as he glanced at the Grim Reaper.

Ritsuka took a step forward, his eyes piercing through Pierce. "Tell me why you did this. What drove you to become Hydra's last leader?"

Pierce hesitated, then sighed, as if the weight of his own actions had finally caught up with him. "I was sent on a mission," he began, his voice quieter now. "To kill a man. A so-called criminal of America. I did the job, walked right into his home, and shot him. But there was a kid… a blind ten-year-old girl… I was forced to kill her too. That was the mission."

The room fell silent. Even Fury, hardened as he was, seemed disturbed by Pierce's confession.

Pierce continued, his voice hollow. "Later, I found out that man wasn't the criminal they said he was. He had evidence—proof—that the government was corrupt. Politicians played me like a pawn, and by the time I realized it, it was too late. After that, I knew… I wasn't serving my country. I was just part of the same rot. So, I did what I had to do—Hydra was the only way to change things, to get rid of the useless governments."

Ritsuka listened, his expression stoic. "You're not entirely wrong," he admitted. "The system is flawed, but that doesn't justify what you've done."

Pierce gave a bitter laugh. "You're naive if you think you can change it. Those idiots in power don't learn from their mistakes. Hate, conflict… it's in human nature. Your 'peace' is a joke."

Before Ritsuka could respond, Bucky stepped forward, his face twisted in rage. "I've heard enough."

With one swift motion, Bucky pulled the trigger, ending Pierce's life and the last remnants of Hydra's leadership. Pierce's body fell to the ground, his final words a twisted reminder of the darkness he'd embraced.

And just like that, Hydra was finished.

As the Brotherhood of Mutants and SHIELD agents hunted down the last remnants of Hydra's forces, the world began to breathe a sigh of relief. For the first time in decades, the looming shadow of Hydra was gone.

Fury exhaled sharply, holstering his gun. "Well, that's one less nightmare to deal with." He turned to Ritsuka, a slight smirk on his face. "I gotta say, kid, your magic trick of summoning people… might be useful for the Avengers."

Ritsuka tilted his head, thoughtful.

"Are you sure Fury? I mean for real? To join them in Avengers?"

"Fucking real!! I know you can deal with that shit"

"I can talk to my friends, but it's up to them whether they join or not. But still, They aren't… normal."

Fury chuckled. "You think we're normal? Look, if you're telling me that big, scary 'Grandpa' of yours would be on our side, then hell yeah, I'm interested."

Ritsuka smiled lightly. "Grandpa, would you be interested in joining the Avengers?"

King Hassan's voice rumbled low and deliberate. "*If thou requires my blade for the protection of this realm, thou need only ask.*"

Fury nodded in satisfaction. "Good enough for me. Let's get back."

With a wave of his hand, Ritsuka opened a portal to the SHIELD Helicarrier for Fury. "Take care of things here," Ritsuka said.

Fury nodded. "You can count on it. And kid… good work."

Ritsuka smiled, and as Fury stepped through the portal, he turned to Bucky. "Let's go home."

The two returned to Tony's house, the weight of the battle beginning to lift. As they arrived, King Hassan once again vanished into Ritsuka's shadow, silently watching over his grandson. Ritsuka fujimaru needs to talk with Tony and know about his well being. He had trust Da Vinci will find a way to stop poision in Tony body until Tony find his father research documents.

The last of Hydra was gone, and the future—however uncertain—felt just a little brighter.
