Chương 25: The Kingdom Of Arcadia
In the capital city of Kyuray, the air was electric with excitement as a large number of civilians had gathered in front of the royal castle. They could feel something important was about to happen.
The whole Kyuray was decorated beautifully as if celebrating a grand festival. It was the time for the sunset and magical lightnings were all beautifully arranged throughout the kingdom.
A week had passed since the successful rebellion in Sandora, and today was the day that would decide the future of its people. The citizens of Sandora were eagerly awaiting Alexander Crown's announcement.
On the royal grounds, all the top echelons of the rebels could be seen sitting on chairs like a courtroom, and at the largest seat sat Alex, wearing a stunning royal blue dress with golden embroidery and a beautiful blue cloak. The onlookers couldn't help but gasp in awe.
In front of Alex floated Erica, holding his smartphone and pointing the camera towards him. "Play the live video throughout the human settlements of Sandora," Alex commanded. As soon as he spoke, an indifferent voice sounded from his smartphone, and his image appeared throughout the skies of the kingdom.
The people of Sandora were amazed to see Alex's lifefeed visible for everyone. He began to speak, and the crowd hung on his every word. "People of Sandora," Alex said, "I'm Alexander Crown, the leader of rebels. A week ago, we led a successful rebellion throughout Sandora, and we're finally able to end the reign of the slave king and the royal family."
The people of Sandora were overjoyed to hear this news and began cheering. They knew something good was coming.
"Today, I'm going to announce the future of Sandora," Alex continued. The crowd became silent, eagerly waiting for his next words.
"Before that, let me say a few words about this rebellion and the history of rebels," Alex said, and the people nodded in agreement.
Alex began to speak about the struggles of their ancestors and how they founded a secret organization to fight back against the slave king and his descendants. The people of Sandora were in awe of their history and felt proud of their heritage.
"And after years of hard work and struggle, today we stand here finally defeating the tyrant slave king and freeing ourselves from his oppression," Alex said, and the crowd erupted into cheers and applause.
Alex continued, "Today, I, Alexander Crown, the leader of rebels, declare the fall of the kingdom of Sandora and the birth of a new kingdom, the Kingdom of Arcadia. I declare myself as the new monarch of the Kingdom of Arcadia."
As Alex said he raised his hands and revealed a beautiful blue coloured flag with a golden coloured bird emboidered at its centre which gave a noble and regal feeling to the viewers.
Throughout the kingdom of Sandora which is now the kingdom of Arcadia thousands o magical fireworks lit up the sky as the flag was revealed giving people all over the world a breathtaking view.
The people of Sandora were stunned, but they couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement about this new beginning. They knew that they were witnessing the birth of something great.
Alex went on to explain his vision for Arcadia, an idyllic land filled with harmony and prosperity. The people of Sandora were mesmerized by his words and felt inspired to support him in his mission.
"As the new King of Arcadia, I pass my first decree of abolishing slavery from the whole Kingdom. From now on, there will be no slavery and slaves," Alex declared. The people of Sandora were ecstatic to hear this news and erupted into cheers and applause once again.
Alex continued, "With the abolition of slavery, I also announce the abolition of the traditional system of nobles. A new governing system would be implemented where anyone who has capabilities can become a part."
The people of Arcadia were overjoyed and couldn't contain their excitement. They cheered and applauded, knowing that they had a bright future ahead of them under the leadership of their new monarch.
The whole event ended with the revelation of new constitution which Alex along with others have debated heavily on which was based upon the constitutions from Alex's previous world.
A system of constitutional monarchy was estabilished where Alex had full control over the military and helds the most powers and a parliamentary council consisting of Kael, Julian, Garrick, Lilth and others which would deal with most of the work of the kingdom and implement the orders of Alex.
A proper governing body was introduced along with the legislature, executive and judiciary types of systems to divide the role and easy administration.
For council the leader would be the prime-minister of Arcadia who would be elected by the other members of councils but then also no such things like parties and all were introduced.
This type of government, didn't only reduced the workload of Alex and increased his control over the kingdom of also pleased the masses and gave Alex more free time where he could perform other important things.
The slaves who wanted to leave Sandora and wishes to go to their homeland were all permitted to do so and with the help of guild who ordered Blue, Red and Silver ranking adventurers to escort them all left for their homeland.
Amongst the slaves there were many slaves who were sold to slave traders after performing criminal activities were also all sent back to their homeland with the help of adventurers along with others.
Since the slave traders contributed the most to the economy of Sandora, the Arcadia faced a financial crisis but as Alex had pre-planned about this it didn't had much affect on and with the help of the money from the treasury of the former royal family of Sandora it was easily resolved.
All nations around the world had gotten the news of the birth of Kingdom Of Arcadia and are intrigued about it while some like Emperor Yulong and Xenoahs didn't cared much about it.
While at South the kingdom of Arcadia was founded in the North the kingdom of Belfast and kingdom of Mismede both had formed an alliance and stories of a certain dragon slayer started to spread throughout the masses.
