Chương 49: Ch. 49 He Wants To Use His Birth Name
Vasili was still contemplating the information he had just heard. Alexsei trying to kill him? And that man died from being hit by his cold energy?
How did that happen? Why did Alexsei want to kill him anyway?
Plus, Vasili would dodge or take precautions before Alexsei managed to stab him in the heart. How could he be careless?
Well, he did know that Alexsei hated him, especially after the man heard the news that the inheritance of their adoptive father's assets was handed entirely over to Vasili.
Although their relationship was quite close when Alexsei was a teenager, Vasili decided never to interfere in the man's affairs, and he often avoided his adoptive brother.
Even so, Vasili was sure that Alexsei's hatred could not reach the limit of wanting to kill him, let alone did it by himself. Vasili was sure he couldn't possibly allow himself to be stabbed by Alexsei just like that. What happened?
"Master? Are you okay?" Rothbert felt uneasy when he found that his master had not reacted for a long time.
Was his master's amnesia so severe that it made the blue king speechless?
Vasili looked up at the worried look of the middle-aged man and couldn't help but offered the kind older man a grateful smile. He didn't want to make the man worry because his physical body was fine.
In fact, he had never felt this healthy before. He felt like he had been reborn and gained new powers.
"My body is fine. There is no problem with my life energy. I'm pretty sure I can teleport up to tens of times a day. But…" Vasili held her left chest. "For some unknown reasons, I feel lost. It felt like there was a hole inside me, but I didn't know what was missing. It seems… I missed something."
"Do you know what you missed, sir?"
Vasili was silent for a while as he managed to sort out his quite chaotic feelings. First, he was surprised when he woke up in the coffin. No matter how much he tried to remember how his death happened, he couldn't remember.
Second, the year of his death occurred twenty years ago from the memory of his life that he could still remember.
If what happened in his memory wasn't a dream, and time had indeed turned back… there was only one possibility.
"I think I know. I believe this is the work of the violet king."
"Violet king? Do you mean the ruler of nature who controls time? Why would you think like that?"
"I had lived until 2047, although I don't remember what happened to me, I'm sure I'm still alive until that year. I even vividly remember where and when I bought a beautiful house in Seattle in 2040. I also remember meeting…."

Instantly his heartbeat pounded rapidly as if he was riding a roller coaster that was sliding down at a frightening speed. A figure of a dark red hair girl emerged inside his head.
The girl has curly eyelashes and thin lips that are incredibly tempting. He even felt the urge to taste the lips that looked as sweet as strawberries, but strangely he couldn't remember the girl's face clearly. The girl's face was blurry.
Who? Who is that girl? Why did his chest hurt thinking about that girl? Suddenly, his head felt dizzy, as if a hammer knocked his head to split his brain.
"Master? Are you alright?"
Hearing the worried tone of the assistant who had served him since the man was a teenager, Vasili took a deep breath. He didn't want to make the man worry more than this.
"I think I'll be fine. You may return to your family."
"Are you sure, sir?" the older man seemed unwilling to leave him alone as if he was afraid his master would die again and he would have to wait tens of years to wait for his return.
"Hmm. I'll be fine."
Even though Vasili's tone was reassuring and the man's pale expression had gone, Rothbert still couldn't shake off his worry. Nevertheless, he decided to believe the blue king's answer and changed their subject. "How about your identity, sir? Do you want me to create a new identity for you?"
"Fine by me."
"Is there a name you want, or are you leaving the choice of name to me?"
If it followed according to his memory, he would use the name, Axelard Cavendish. A descendant of nobility from England who traveled to the Americas and had studied in New York City.
He remembered he met and became good friends with Declan Black there. If time had rewind and he missed his college days, would that mean Declan was no longer his friend?
Declan will only think of him as a stranger when they cross paths on the street if he decided to live in New York.
What a pity. Thought Vasili. He liked Declan and felt that only the young man makes him want to befriend humans.
Should he use that name again?
But, it felt like he didn't want to use that name this time. After all, he had often heard people calling his name Axel or Lord Cavendish in his memory. He decided to use his real name.
"I want to use the name my mother gave me."
"You want to use your real name?"
Vasili could understand why Rothbert was surprised. He only used his given name once, and that was when his biological parents were still alive.
After that, he no longer used his name and used another name as his new identity. He will only use his real name when he meets his true love because only his wife has the right to know the name his mother gave him.
And now… Vasili decided to use his mother's given name even though he hasn't found her true love yet. No wonder the assistant who had served the blue king for many years was surprised.
Vasili himself was also taken aback by his unexpected decision. But he didn't regret it.
He didn't know how, but his instincts told him he'd be meeting someone soon. And he wanted this person to call him by his real name instead of a temporary one.
