"Finally, some time alone."
Hera held the two doors wide open, her eyes scanning the room in case this was a trap. It wouldn't be impossible for Florence to be alone in this situation.
Knowing it was safe, she stepped in.
"Can't trust anyone now, can you?" Hera teased as she quickly came to a conclusion. "Isn't it fun, Florence? Feeling unsafe in your own home, scared that the person who approaches you will kill you?"
Hera stopped several steps from the madam. Florence's allure was still present, but it was now tainted with the trace of the battlefield.
"If that is your goal, I must admit you succeeded," Florence scorned. "You are one vile yet amusing child. It's my fault for underestimating a child like you."
"Well, thank you." Hera smiled. "So? Is that an admission of defeat?"
"Not so fast, Hera."
Hera's brows rose, wondering what sort of trick Florence had up her sleeve.
