Ivy hugged her knees, recalling everything Katherine spewed before she left while laughing like a maniac. She kept biting her lips, looking around this beautiful and grand prison they put her in. Although the exterior was much better than a regular prison, it felt ten times more suffocating. 

It was scary. 

This was not something she expected to happen. Or rather, she expected bad things to happen, but she didn't expect that Dane would be the cause. 

"Dane Zhang…" her voice was low and shaky, digging her nails into her biceps as she clasped them. "... so you're really this person?"

A thin layer of tears coated Ivy's eyes, almost suffocated from holding back her tears. What she had seen today, those people she had met earlier, and that woman named Katherine was proof Dane had been deceiving everyone all along.
