[City Jail: Visitation Room]
"Hah." Silas let out a snicker as soon as he went inside the visitation room, eyes swirling with malice upon seeing the person inside. The officer with him pushed him a little, making him drag his feet to the table, and watching the same officer attach his cuffs to the steel bar on the table.
"What a nice surprise," Silas mused as he looked at Axel sitting across from him. "I didn't think you'd ever muster the courage to come and visit the man who tried to disintegrate you, Axel. Surely, you've grown."
Axel maintained a plain expression, assessing Silas's face. It had only been over a month since Silas was arrested. Therefore, it wasn't surprising the man hadn't reflected on his crimes. If anything, he seemed to have been fitting well inside.
"I'm sorry," Axel breathed out despite the malicious look he was getting from his cousin. "I'm sorry for what happened to Aunt Olivia and what you went through, Silas."
