Chương 4: My Armor Is Better 1
In my bed, I let out a loud yawn as I woke up. I couldn't help but lay there in bed for some time, that was the best sleep of my life. But after a moment, I woke up and headed towards the window which I opened, and looked down at the busy streets of New York.
I lived on the highest floor of Lux, a 42-story building. It was a huge nightclub, filled with hotels, casinos, restaurants, pools, and so many more. This building used to be under someone else, who I made a deal with to get the building. Many people rented out many floors in the buildings, some for parties, some to do drugs, and so on. I didn't care what they did,
I grabbed my phone and saw I was asleep for 6 days. Almost a whole week. I went to the elevator, which took me downstairs, where it opened to a secret room. Going through a door, which was hidden from being found. Stepping through that door, I was hit with the sound of light music.
Of course, some magic was cast there to ensure people couldn't just stumble upon the elevator, or so easily find it unless shown them. Tony was able to come and leave thanks to the fact he was a genius, making sure to remember every step he took the few times I brought him up here.
I walked behind a secret passage, arriving before the somewhat empty club. As it wasn't morning, those who were here were mostly young men who were either here on dates, or just wanted drinks.
"Lucifer, I'm a reporter for the Daily Bugle, Why have you invested so much into Start Industries?" A beautiful young lady said quickly, running over to my side with a recorder in hand. it was clear she had stayed here for a long time, waiting to speak with me.
"Sorry, we can have sex later. As of now, I have matters to deal with. Come back later tonight, and you can get both sex and your report." I said lightly, to which she nodded with a smile, although that smile almost died for a second, but she kept it up.
I was a billionaire and was handsome. of course, people were just lining up to sleep with me. You were ugly? Simply be rich and you could sleep with some of the world's most beautiful ladies. Money was is beauty. but to have both beauty and money, almost no woman was impossible for you to sleep with.
You don't even have to put on an act. As you saw there, I set the time, gave her little to no attention, and was on with my way. Disrespectful right? But would you care about being disrespected before the opportunity of sleeping with a beautiful rich woman/male? You would endure the disrespect, and put a smile on your face for the sake of opportunity.
I took the main elevator, which took me to the underground parking lot. but I quickly noticed that the underground parking lot was closed as workers were working on building a basement. I looked around, searching for my cars.
I didn't have to search for long as I soon saw them. They were moved to the outside parking lot. I had a roll of cars, from sports cars to luxury cars. Best of the best of cars, worthy of being owned by a billionaire like myself.
I got in the Ferrari, before driving off. As for where I was going, it was simple. I went to Sanctum Sanctorumm, I wanted to create stuff that could also use magic. Upon arriving, the doors opened for me as time stopped. I wasn't affected by time stopping, I wasn't alone as the bold-headed woman before me also wasn't affected.
"Is there something I could help you with, Sir Lucifer?" She asked respectfully. When I first appeared in this world, she was the first person I met. She quickly came to see me once someone who was called the Living Tribunal told her about my existence.
"Can I not come to see you?" I asked with a smile, to which she just looked at me without any changes on her face.
"It's my honor." She said with a slight bow, which honestly impressed me. Any small act of me flirting with anyone always ends in the said person being unable to hide their blush or their joy. After all, I was created to be the most beautiful thing in creation, even in this form, I transcend the limits of human understanding.
"You too former, like I told you last time, just call me Lucifer," I said while walking towards the building, which she stepped side to follow me from behind. She didn't say anything to my words, like always she avoided the subject.
"I came to look into books on this world magic. I wanted to create stuff that can channel magic," I said lightly, stunning the Ancient one, but she nodded while waving her hands, summoning books to me.
"I will start with the basics, this is the first time I'm trying to do something like this. So, no need to make things more complex than they need." I said to which she nodded, sending the books back while having the basics come before me. I took the books, and went through them and the knowledge they had to offer, easily understanding everything without even having to think back on it.
The Ancient One was the master of the Masters of the Mystic Arts. Eldritch Magic, also known as Sorcery, utilized by the Masters of the Mystic Arts, is light-based magic that produces sparks and fiery energy in a yellow/orange color palette that is capable of giving off not only light but also warmth and uses energy from alternate dimensions and supernatural beings as its power source.
Being highly versatile, it can be shaped into different forms, from tangible energy constructs such as shields and weapons to specific formations such as symbols and geometric patterns that are often used to produce various effects known to sorcerers as spells, which are utilized for various purposes.
'This is so much simpler than the last time I went through them.' I thought seeing just how easily I comprehended everything which in the past I couldn't understand no matter what. in the past, I had no talent for this, and even now I have no talent for this. But now my mind was far more capable of dealing with this stuff.
All creatures have an inherent connection to the Multiverse, this subsequently means that all creatures, especially those with the mental capabilities to learn of its mechanisms, have the potential to wield these powers through study and practice. Nevertheless, all practitioners, natural-born or not, are required to study the sciences of the forces that are channeled, not only as a means to better understand them but also as a means to better control them.
Meaning, if I wanted to have armor be able to channel magic... well, it wouldn't be so easy. I first needed to improve my knowledge in magic, and also tech. But I could have the armor help me channel magic, bypassing my lack of talent for magic, or my capability not to use magic.
I went on to have her give me more complex magic, ranging from magic which could affect small things, to magic which could affect the multiverse. This caused me to look at her, wondering why she would give me such magic. but I got everything I wanted after a few hours, at which point I said goodbye and went on with my day.
I went on to return home, my mind overflowing with knowledge of the Eldritch Magic. One should know, that my intelligence was scary at this moment. Like how I could look at the Arc Reactor and see its flaws, I could look at spells and see its flaws. hell, I could even create far more powerful spells.
"You know you shouldn't run off like that without letting me know," Lilith said while standing behind the bar,
"My overpowered wife has my back, what do I have to worry about?" I asked while sitting back, and relaxing. Lilith smiled at my words, as she walked in front of me, and got on top of me.
"Indeed, as your wife, you have nothing to worry about." She said softly with a smile, a smile that said it all. No more words were needed, as we went on to start kissing, while I removed her clothing...
Tony was truly a genius, needing only 11 days to finish the newly improved armor. Tony kept it a secret from many, all but me who he brought the suit over to show off. I wasn't bothered as I took the chance to improve my knowledge in this field from the best.
Stane and Tony were also fighting about who would build my lab, which I just found weird and off. I had to step forward, convincing them to just work together, this sped things up, leading to me having my lab done in a shocking 12 days.
"Done," I said while looking at the newly improved Arc Reactor. It was truly like a sun, being held in the palm of one hand. If Tony used this to power his suit, he could have thousands of suits pushing themselves to the limit, and this Arc Reactor would be recharging faster than those suits are using the energy.
"So, how would you get that energy to be used to cast spells?" Lilith asked in interest.
"I built a universal converter into this arc Reactor, so it can turn to any form of energy that is needed. magical energy, radiation, electricity, and other energy that is scanned by the scanner inside. This is an all-in-one energy" I said calmly, to which Lilith was impressed
"Now, I got to build a hologram projector, then the suit," I said lightly while thinking back to my earth. There was something known as air charging. What was air charging? Air Charging enables users to remotely charge electronic devices without any cables or wireless charging stands.
'I should be able to do a Bluetooth charging network of that kind. Plus, I could have it work across dimensions.' I thought with a smirk. This was fun... turning my ideas into reality, it was something I was starting to like. it was... fun.
The next day, I stood before holograms of legos. I was holding a Lego piece which I went on to connect to another Lego piece. I nodded lightly at the speed and reaction speed of all of this, I easily connected the pieces and pulled them apart, giving the illusion that they were truly real. One sense was truly fooled by it, be it sight, smell, touch, sound, and taste. all of the senses were affected by the hologram.
"Alright, next the armor," I said while having the lego pieces disappear, replaced with many parts I was going to use to create my armor. As it was connected to my mind, the pieces all moved to my will, putting themselves together, and warping around my hand,
'No, too complex and troublesome to put on. I could improve it.' I thought, going on to spend hours creating a new design of armor, improving it, until finally, I came to a stop before the armor Tony Stark had during Avengers: Endgame. but mine was far better,
It had most of the Mark 85 armor capability, such as nanotech, the ability to create energy contracts, flight, and so on. But this armor would connect to my mind, as well as allow me to use magic, and give me many superpowers, such as Telekinesis, mind reading, mind reading resistance, the power to manipulate space and time, the power to scan and copy others magic, powers, and abilities.
"Now, I just need to find the resources needed to create this stuff... no, I can just create it." I thought while having that armor be stored away. I will call it Mark 1, now I need to create something I will call the Atomic Wand. it would be an item that could manipulate atoms, having them form to the users' will.
This was easy as I could do this with just science alone, magic was overkill.
(A/N: Do you guys like it when I go into detail with stuff? I have a problem with getting lost and over-explaining stuff at times. Was this chapter level of explaining stuff okay, or over the top? How much is too much?)
