Chương 43: Chapter 44: Dagon
Padma POV
"Ansh!!" I rush to support him before he hits the ground.
'What's happened? I am sure I didn't hit that har-'
*BBBOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM*
With a sudden sound, I see a huge wave of water coming towards us.
"What the heck?" Ansh mumbles.
'I have the same question.'
I try to run while pulling Ansh along but it is hard with him barely being able to stand.
'What happened to him.'
I see the wave is almost upon us.
With no time to consider something else, I pull out my wand and create a shield charm in front of us.
'Glad I learned it. Hope this helps a bit.'
The wave crashes upon us and my shield charm proves useless as the water fills in on us from the sides.
I hold onto Ansh, as he doesn't seem to be in a state to swim.
*Cough Cough*
A couple seconds later the water recedes and I can finally breathe. I hurriedly help Ansh as he seems to be on the brink of passing out.
"Huff....hufff.... I don't know what happened, but that was enough adventure for a week."
As I try to get him to stand up, I realize I spoke too soon.
*ROOAAARRRRRR*
I look towards the Lake to see a monstrosity of tentacles coming out of it.
"Merlin's beard! What is that?!!"
It looks around and then its eyes look onto us.
'I don't know how, but I am sure its Ansh's fault. If that thing leaves us alive, I will kill him myself.'
As his tentacle reaches for us a shield suddenly comes up in front of us.
I look down to see Ansh forming it.
The monster hits the shield and his tentacle is stopped, but the shield breaks too.
"*Ughh* Run" Ansh barely whispers with blood flowing out of his mouth.
'What the HELL is even HAPPENING??!!'
I look towards the monster as his other tentacle is almost upon us.
"*PROTEGO*"
'NO WAY AM I LEAVING HIM BEHIND OR GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT.'
"YOU WANNA EAT US, THEN TRY IT YOU UGLY MONSTER!!"
I focus on the shield as his tentacle makes contact with it, which shatters after deflecting him once.
"*Prot-"
Before I could even chant the spell for another shield, 3 more of his hands come for us.
'A weird way to die...….. I will kill Ansh in hell.'
With that being my final thoughts, I close my eyes..........
'...... Okay how long is this going to ta-'
I open my eyes after not feeling the pain I was expecting for 2 seconds and see Professor McGonagall standing in front of us with a shimmering shield that covers us from all sides.
"Are you guys fine?" She turns towards us and asks with worry on her face.
Before I could reply her eyes snap over to Ansh and she gets her answer.
The shield is being battered on all sides by the monster but it holds strong.
"Minerva what is happening here?" I look to the side to see Professor Pomona coming towards us.
"I don't know Pomona. We can figure that out later. For now, you take the kids to Pomfrey and I will deal with Dagon."
'So its name is Dagon.' Was my last thought before I felt my body give up.
