Orion felt the power coming to him, it was more power than he had absorbed anything in his life. Maybe all that power he got from all those dementors could have been similar but he would never know.
It doesn't matter though, right now he was having a blast. The only problem was that the idiot monster seems to know that something was off, it's understandable when he was sucking out all of his magical power.
And there was a ton, of dark and corrupted magic collected from the corpses of innocent people and then transformed into an even more corrupt form of magic by Caster's Noble Phantasm.
'Good thing my technique purifies magic before absorbing.'
Saber, Lancer and Rider couldn't see where Orion went but after some time felt a change in the monster's behaviour.
It wasn't trashing around more than usual but it was targeting them like before. And just like how Orion said, the regenerative power was slowly down.
Now the wounds were healing at a much slower rate.
Meaning whatever Orion doing was working. Now it's on them to take down the monster. However the problem still kind of remains.
The monster was way too big for any of their attacks to work properly.
Those were not the only group of people trying to beat the monster.
Airforce soon deploys fighter jets with missiles attached to them to target the monster and take it out in one fell swoop.
Well, it failed spectacularly. But further slowed down the monster's regenerative powers.
For most parts, Saber, Rider and Lancer worked together to inflict as much as damage possible on the monster and though it was clearly working now unlike before, it was still a slow process.
Not to mention they were also tiring out themselves and their masters who provided them with magical power.
Saber looking just how the fight was kept on dragging, just wanted to use her own noble phantasm, to end this fight.
The only problem is that her hand was injured, she can't use both of her hands right now and thus can't use the full power of her weapon.
Gilgamesh was watching this fight from the start while relaxing on top of his flying spaceship.
He didn't bother interfering nor he planned to. Even after his master asked him to, he couldn't care less. He was just getting rid of his boredom with this show. He was especially interested in Orion. Wanting to see what the mage child will do next.
Maybe Tokiomi could force Gilgamesh to do so but that would cost him one of his command seals which he rather not. Command seals are very important for the masters. Many don't know but without them, they just won't be able to get the Grail.
When it comes to Tokiomi, he was currently tracking down Caster's master. Took him some time as there was a crowd gathering to observe the monster. Fool all of them, can't understand it's better to get out of this place.
But Tokiomi is a very experienced mage, though hard but with the help of the mana lingering in that crowd he was able to identify Caster's Master.
It was a help that the boy was laughing deranged and was attracting attention towards himself. And more than anything, his command seals were out there for the entire world to see.
Tokiomi slowly walks up to the man after using a little hypnosis magic on the surrounding crowd to send them off.
Only after making sure that no more unwanted attention was on him, that he open his mouth.
"You are the master of Caster right." He said though he didn't even have to announce his presence or ask. He was sure the crazy boy was Caster's master and Tokiomi could have killed him even without letting the boy know how he died. But that is not how mages do things.
Before any particular response could come from the boy though, Tokiomi extended his hand and the staff on his hand towards the boy.
The gen attaches at the tip of the small staff grew and fire shot out from it, directly hitting the boy.
"AHAHAHAAHA."
Caster's Master was burned alive there.

Everything was going well for Caster until suddenly the magical power started to disappear. It felt like a black hole opened up to suck all of his gathered magical power. The monster he summoned needed magical power to sustain and he gathered enough to last for a long, but suddenly the monster began to lose tons of magical power rapidly.
This both confuses Caster and makes him panic. So he looked after it only to find that it was the same boy who didn't let him unite with his dear Joan.
But he finally had it when he felt his connection with his master broke up. This meant that his master was dead. This finally makes him act.
He uses his own magic to stop Orion.

Orion was having the time of his life, this was the first time he had this much magic all for himself. He devoured the magic like there was no tomorrow until suddenly he felt that something was off.
He was very close to breaking into level 5 Grandmaster and didn't want any mishaps now but unfortunately, things didn't seem to go as he planned.
At first, he didn't understand until he felt it. His hands...
They were stuck to the skin of the monster and he was slowly sinking in its skin.
'Gross.'
Orion tried to move out but to no avail. Not his magic or his physical power was working for him right now.
Then suddenly he realized what had happened.
'That damna Caster, he played a UNO reverse on me.
He knew that I was here. Rather than acting directly against me, he accepts my magic as the part of the monster, letting the monster devour me instead.' Orion gritted his teeth as he tried to control the magical flow to cut it off but to no avail.
His magical power was still not comparable to the beast.
"Aha."
Orion gave his best but no amount of pull or trying to control his magic was working out for him, even Law wasn't working when his own magical power was in disarray.
Looking at his half-shrunken body, Orion finally panicked a little. He tried to think of a solution but nothing came to his mind.
Nothing besides just absorbs the monster's magic faster than the monster absorbs him.
It was a race against time now.
'Fuck it.' Orion curses as he just gives up resistance but all of his focus is on absorbing magic. But now with all of his power. All the earlier restrain he had about absorbing magic was long gone. He now only focused on getting as much magic inside him as fast as he could.
Sometime later, Orion was almost shrunk inside the monster's skin.
Only his head and right hand were outside, trying to maintain his oxygen supply.
"COME ON... WORK GOD DAMN IT." Orion shouted as he absorbed tons of magical power just to break through into Level 5 Grandmaster but it seemed like the gap of power he was expecting he had to cross was much larger.
Soon his mouth and nose were also submerged into the monster's skin. Orion took a deep breath to hold out for a few more minutes. Now truly desperate.
This is what happens when people go for biting more than they can chew.
But just as darkness was about to set in in front of his vision, Orion finally felt it.
A power growing inside him, and not just that, another power originating on his right hand.
The last thing he saw was his right hand holding onto his pendant as that was the only thing he cared about more than his life at this point.
*cough*Money*cough*...
And the tattoo appears on the back of the very same hand.
