From that day onwards Orion went back to his training like a man possessed. He hardly was wasting time like he usually used to do.
This change was seen not only by his friends but also by other professors. But ultimately none of them said anything. Becuase this was nothing different to be exact. In fact in many students' and professors' minds. This was Orion in a nutshell.
Many hardly have even talked to him in this full 3 years of time. They are used to it. But if there is one person who is more used to it then its none other Orion himself.
However, until usual training, Orion currently was fully focused on Transfiguration. He planned to rope Dumbledore to teach him the subject but the man is gone right now. Most likely chasing Grindelwald and this alliance in Spain or other parts of the world.
And though he could ask Professor McGonagall it was clear to him that she wouldn't teach him anything beyond the level of a 7th-year student, hell even that would be hard to get out of her, especially after what happened in the DADA class.
So Orion didn't approach them at all and trained by himself. There are many books to get started with so that is the best place to start anyway.
Time kept on passing like this and his usual routine was training, attending class or skipping them most of the time and lastly teaching the girls about magic. And this time for real.
Soon the Quidditch match was upon them. Just like the rest of the years, Orion could take part this year as well.
Surprisingly McGonagall didn't force him this year, most likely knowing that he could easily win the match if his reflexes and magical attentments are anything to go by.
'Now I wonder, whether she would let me play if I had asked for it ?' Orion really wanted to know that.
[I am sure she would, there is no reason to stop you but the real question is whether other professors would have agreed with that ?] Merlin chipped in.
Orion after blinking a little nodded as well. He too does see why they would refuse for him to take part in this. He can cheat in broad daylight an no one will be wiser, that was the merits of being able to do wandless magic.
Orion sat still as he noticed that the weather today wasn't good. Most likely today gonna rain and a possible storm. This environment was exactly like when Harry was attacked by the dementors in the third year.
[Come on it's unlikely that something like that will happen today. Nothing can't go exactly like books now can they] Merlin added.
Orion too nodded at this. But there was a bad feeling in his heart. So he actually ended up attending the match. Usually, he doesn't waste his time on things like this and gives his full attention to training but this time he just choice to listen to his heart.

.
Soon what he was pondering about happened. It started raining and the winds were getting wild.
He was currently sitting beside Daphne as Rose is the only one who actually play in the tournament in their small group of besties.
[That's called a Harem but again you can call it whatever you want] Merlin interjected from the side.
Orion hearing those didn't immediately refuse like he used to, in fact, he turned his head slowly to Daphne. The girl was too entangled right now to look at Orion giving her a subtle glance or even notice that she currently was holding his arm so intimately that anyone would mistake them as couples.
Orion felt the soft feeling of the girl's chest pressing againt him and internally nodded that at his decision of attention the finals. Even if nothing happen, coming here was worth it just for this.
But right now he was pondering over those two girls. As much as he wanted to avoid the old man spatting nonsense about a harem, he too knew that that is the only way that he could stay with both the girls.
But will the girls will agree?
He is the kind of man who will put himself in a situation to see whether something is right or not. And there is no way that he can share his woman with someone. So asking the same thing from the girls is not right in his mind.
But what else he can do, sighning he just shook his head and decided to not think about that problem right now. He will have to talk about this sooner or later but right now at least its not the case.
.
.
.
Soon the actual match also started and Orion wasn't at all interested in the match. He is not interested in Quidditch in first place even if someone gives him a VIP seat in good weather, so there is no way that he will be excited to watch the match while getting bombarded by rain and chilly winds.
Good thing for him and Daphne that Orion erected a barrier around them, they weren't getting wet or feeling cold right now.
Orion saw how it was getting increasingly hard to stop even people in this weather, let alone a small golden ball which is notorious for getting lost.
And currently Rose was trying to do the same. But unlike them, Orion knew where the ball was. With just simple magic sense he could figure out that the ball wasn't close too the ground at all, it was flying pretty high in the air.
[That's why they don't want someone like you in the game]
"Good because it wouldn't be a game if I entered anyway," Orion said arrogantly. And though he was quite arrogant in the remark, Merlin couldn't say anything about it, he was right.
Orion looked up, and there was a bad feeling in his chest. Something wasn't right. He could sense Dementors flying at a higher altitude, there were hundreds of them.
"Hey do you think I should absorb those dementors," Orion said with a serious tone.
[Them ....] Merlin ponders.
The reason why Orion hasn't gone after the dementors by now and absorbed them is becuase of how close their connection with death is.
Earlier when he didn't know about death and was only thinking of its a dream where a Grim Reaper was chasing him. He actively avoided absorbing them. Maybe out of fear or some sort of negative effect but now that he have more information.
He felt like he should absorb them. This solves a lot of problems for him.
In future, if Voldemort or any other dark lord including Death come, they at least won't have a ready-made army in their hands.
This will help not only him but also Rose and the entirety of Hogwarts in the upcoming days.
And most importantly, this way Orion can close the power gap by at least a little bit.
[Hmm now that you mention it. I believe that you should. We already know that your Integration removes all the harmful substances in the magic for you period. If it can purity something like dark death magic then a Dementor or two shouldn't be a problem] Merlin said after pondering a little.
"Well yes, but I am not only talking about one or two Dementors here you know," Orion said as a smirk after some time appeared on his face. Merlin seeing the smirk suddenly had a bad feeling.
[What are you planning on doing ?] Merlin asked with little hesitation.
Orion was about to explain his master plan but then suddenly there was a daming feeling in his chest. Something wasn't right.
His mind first went for Rose, who was still flying inside the Quidditch Stadium and was completely safe. The next person was of course Daphne was hugging his left arm to death. With so much strength Orion could have sworn that if he had not already lost the ability to use magic in that hand, then he would usually would after the match.
Lastly, he looks up and all of his bad feeling turn into reality.
He wasn't the only one who saw this as the heavy chilly feeling and depressing emotions were felt by everyone.
